Reading to Django. Actually we were sharing story telling here. Maurice Sendak had captured his imagination for a few minutes. But then he wanted to tell me about his adventures at Happy Dog. "Mama, there were all of the usual Labs and Retrievers. I had a great time on those 50 acres on Sauvie Island. They went into the pond and I stayed with Aunt Elizabeth. They were pretty wild when they came out. I helped get them back to the house."
