As part of our tour, we got to meet DJ, the Southern White Rhinoceros. It was incredible to touch such a large and powerful animal.
If one word could be used to describe Miki, it would be, DYNAMIC. With a diverse background of musical influences, she becomes a chef in the studio and DJ booth, mixing genres and styles to satisfy the palate in such a way that puts her into a category all of her own. As a performer and artist, her big sound is a direct reflection of her infectious personality, sure to leave no soul untouched.
After touring for two consecutive years as official DJ for the popular worldwide video game series from Electronic Arts’, Need for Speed, Miki continued to trot the globe while establishing also herself as an artist in the studio. In 2013, her collaboration on a remix for Denzal Park was included on an official release for Neon Records (Australia) and Sushi Records (Japan) that charted on beatport within days of hitting the global market.
Having performed at various nightclubs, festivals and arenas throughout the world, Miki has played for crowds of thousands and shared stages alongside the likes of Martin Garrix, Sandro Silva, Matt Darey, Chicane, ATB and Cosmic Gate. Currently, she holds a residency at two premier nightclubs on opposite ends of the globe… one at Temple, in San Francisco and the other at Sky Garden, the legendary superclub of Bali.
In addition to, her accolades as a DJ and producer, Miki has graced the pages of FHM, Men’s Health, Import Tuner and Super Street magazines and has been seen on several major television networks. Whether illuminating stages or infecting the airwaves, Miki continues to prove that there truly is no limit when it comes to conquering new territories to share the medicine of the soul.

Light: More advanced setup with the Elinchrom ELC 1000 through the beautiful Elinchrom S35 Fresnel Flooder as key light from the front-top-side, which creates the high contrast in her face. One Elinchrom ELC 500 through a small horizontal strip light from the low-front, to fill in some shadows a little bit. Elinchrom ELB 400 with Action Head through a dish with grid from the top-back, as global rim light. One ELC 500 through a background shaper on the background. I measured the light with the Sekonic L-758DR.
Postprocessing: Some local adjustment curves, some local cloning.

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.
5:05AM and I'm already heading in an
easterly direction towards Cambodia.
6:33AM and I have safely arrived at
The Monkey Temple. Lots of road
drama on the way out and back.
Mama, Rocky an Mickey greet
me at The Dog Palace. First
thing I notice is Rockys
neck wound is Bad !
Like Real Bad !
So what to do ?
Went to The Spirit House and did
the same same then back to the
nuns for a minute then off to
care for The Hooligans.
Returned to The Bingo Room where
more first-aid stuff was gathered
then back to the nuns to brush
all the dogs. During that time
Rocky was momentarily
tricked giving me
just enough
time to
quickly apply antibiotic cream on his
wounds. Yes now there's more ! ..;-0
He's in pain and didn't want anyone
to touch them. This took some time
to address all his wounds, not good !
OK, had to make an executive decision.
Took off for home in order to do this
upload an text. Put Boney Baloney
into the sidecar, get Rockys med
info packet then with a photo of
Rockys wounds still in the
camera head back to
the dog clinic for
proper meds.
Doctor can view the photos of his wounds and
give me some pain meds plus anti-something
for his nasty wounds. I believe he's scratching
the wounds making for enlarged "hot-spots" !
Alright, have to go so I'll respond to your
comments in a few hours when I return.
