Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge. It was dull all day and then at the time of sunset we got a bit of sunlight and colour. So I popped out and caught this:-)
From light reflected just before the sun rises. This is my favourite peak between Hinton and Jasper.....not sure what it is called which doesn't matter as it always remains in my mind with its own boxy entity. I try to always incorporate it into my shots whenever I can. I wish I could camp on top of this peak.

For Macro Monday's vintage theme.
In case you were wondering what this is, this is the edge of Suzy Quatro's 1979 album Can the Can. I didn't realise how much dust gathers on a record that you can't see! No wonder they sounded scratchy. Well, that and a million plays ;) Those are the individual tracks on the record that you can see the dust is gathering on.
This was taken using a 60mm macro on a M4/3 camera which gives 2:1 magnification, then added a Raynox 250 on top which, if my math is correct, and they usually aren't, gives 5:1 magnification.
And as for Suzi, well she was one of my first crushes. Was lucky enough to see her at The Red Hot Summer Tour in 2019 and she still rocks! That album brings back memories, 17 years old, surfing, over to the hamburger shop across from the beach at lunchtime for potato scallops drowned in vinegar, playing pinball and listening to Suzi blast on the jukebox. I have a jukebox that plays vinyl, not quite authentic because it also plays CD's, USB & Bluetooth ;) I can feel some Suzi coming on this afternoon, if I can clean that dust off!

On our trip through the Old City of Jerusalem and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, you really got a sense of how much work, effort, and skill it has taken over the centuries to keep the building beautiful, usable, and even standing. Impressive! :- )
The church was built during the 4th century by the Emperor Constantine.

For a while now, I've been contributing photos to Google Maps.
It's a nice diversion from Charger only photos and a fun outlet for creativity. Although I haven't made it a priority to include my Charger in the photos, somehow the car has found its way into a few of my Spokane photos (imagine that).
A number of my photos have had over half a million views each which is pretty neat. It depends greatly on the location or business you add the photo to and also who's searching Google. I can't control it so I just enjoy it when one goes crazy. So, in no particular order, here are some of the photos I've uploaded to Google Maps over the last two years.
