Landscape of Lamahatta
This is the forest of lamahatta pine forest. Pollution was absent and the atmosphere was mystical & eclectic as the evening mist cast it's spell.
Nature is awesome in all respects🙏
Thank you, Flickr for considering this work!
Thanks All for your likes and comments. I appreciate them all and I will reply to all in due course of time.
Yesterday was a wild mix of weather...we had wind, snow, and rain... but as the sun eased to rest behind the mountains, it shone on the evening mist, turning it golden, as it kissed the tops of the trees and hills with it's sweetest light of the day.....

Io lo immagino così, sperando che del collegio giudicante non faccia parte qualche stupido admin di Flickr.
On Doomsday
I imagine it this way, hoping that some of the stupid Flickr admins won't be part of the judging committee.

I bought a couple of Columbine flowers (ready to plant) for my daughters for Mother's Day. And they were sitting in such pretty light I went crazy with my macro lens, my fave 40mm!!
I had to post!! Thank you :-)

Merry Christmas!

I was simply mesmerized by the early morning light coming through the windows of this very small stone chapel, which was built in 1935 and is still used for worships and weddings these days. The decor is simple, but charming. It's almost like an exquisite piece of oil painting in my eyes.

Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is the name of a ridge, basilica, and French national cemetery in the north of France.
This ridge is the high point (standing at 165m) dominating the flat plains around. More than a year of tight battles were held here during the WWI and it now helds the remains of 45,000 soldiers.
May they Rest In Peace!

The Northern Lights Cathedral is also known as Alta Church and was consecrated on February 10th, 2013 by former bishop of Nord-Hålogaland diocese, Per Oskar Kjølsaas. There are 350 seats in the church room, which can be expanded with the congregation hall to around 500 seats.
The Northern Lights were one of the sources of inspiration during construction and from all angles you can see meandering waves as the Northern Lights often appear. It just had to be a Northern Lights Cathedral in the City of Northern Lights.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. On a day with such beautiful contrasty light in the low autumnal sun, I was just seeking out the opportunity to find interesting subjects and scenes in combination with that light.
Presented with this shot I simply couldn't refuse the click - the sliver of almost 'divine' light right down the centre of this woman was simply wonderful. I just people would stop staring at their screens all of the time!
Lots to enjoy in this shot so best viewed large by pressing 'L'.
I saw the sunrays and edited this for best effect.

I used 7 different exposures in 7 RAWs to achieve these details in the lighting of this scene because of the frontal sun! I blended them manually in Photoshop (without any HDR software). I hope you'll like it!

The focus of the photographic excursion was was to visit the mount Etna. Starting from the refuge Citelli we routed to the Valle del Bove, with a brief stop at the Serracozzo cave.
This is a lava cave generated by the eruption of 1971 on the East side of the volcano.
Once inside, the cave shows a great spectacle: the opening present in the upper part lets the light to enter illuminating the place beautifully, showing details of the streaks left by the scrolling lava.

This is a photograph of a very old cross-shaped gravestone in the cemetery at St. Philips Church in Charleston, South Carolina. I liked the morning light and details of the cross. Best viewed in large size view.
My mom walking our greyhounds through Potter's Bridge. The trees and flowers hadn't started budding quite yet, but it was a beautiful Spring day walking along the White River.
I was out yesterday morning in the I2-forest, just outside Karlstad, Sweden, looking for a nice spot to shot some misty morning shots. I was riding my bike when I came across this view and quickly pulled out my camera out and fired off a couple of fast frames (handheld). Had to seize the moment so to say and I wish I would have had more time to frame and compose it properly but I think it's worth a share here anyway :)
