Le Rocher de la Vierge (Biarritz)
Le rocher est situé sur la commune de Biarritz, entre le Port-Vieux et le Port des pêcheurs. Les deux ports sont séparés par le rocher de l'Atalaye, sommet du promontoire dominant la mer, qui servait de lieu d'observation des baleines, et percé d'un tunnel de 75 mètres, creusé à l'initiative de Napoléon III en 1864. Le rocher est accessible par une passerelle ; il est possible de le traverser grâce à un tunnel.
La roca está situada en Biarritz, entre el viejo puerto y el de los pescadores, ambos separados por la roca de la Atalaya, cumbre del promontorio que domina el mar y desde donde se observaban las ballenas y cruzada por un túnel de setenta y cinco metros, hecho por iniciativa de Napoleón III en 1864. La roca es accesible a través de una pasarela.

Pacific National NR’s 86 and 60 are on the lead of the Adelaide to Sydney portion of the Indian Pacific. The Indian Pacific was diverted from its usual route due to the Lachlan river flooding around Condobolin in western NSW.
Diverted from its normal route due to engineering work in the Severn Tunnel, 70810 heads past Thornwell and under the old Severn bridge working 6C37 15:24 Westbury to Aberthaw.
Still carrying its DRS livery but with GBRf branding, Class 66/3 No.66302 is working 4Z30 10:25 Masborough N&W Gbrf - Felixstowe South Gbrf along the East Coast Mainline at Broad Fen Lane, Claypole. This working is usually routed along the Joint line via Lincoln as 4L11 but was diverted because of strike action. 14-12-2022.

This train normally traverses the Joint Line but because of a national rail strike it was diverted via the East Coast Mainline.

66766 is seen at Gateway West junction heading to Castle Donington to run round, working the 4Z62 0737 Seaforth - East Midlands Gateway 15/12/22. It was diverted via Leicester all week and booked to arrive much later than usual because of the rail strikes. Its usual booked path is via Burton and the Alrewas. (Taken using a pole)
QUBE loaded grain 8918 from Coonamble to Port Kembla is pictured climbing the Cullerin range, with three C44ACi's hauling 50 hoppers.
A few good grain harvests has seen a massive increase in trains on the Coonamble branch, with this train-set constantly cycling between Coonamble and the port.

DRS 68016/88003 Head down through Mennock with the diverted Mossend to Daventry sounding good with the power on towards Eterkinfoot. He will soon be slowing for those Ardoch curves!
88005 & 68015 pass Watford Village whilst hauling the diverted 4Z45 Daventry to Mossend. Due to engineering work north of Crewe the train was diverted via London and the East Coast Main Line 25th May 2020.

Diverted due to engineering work on the Berks & Hants on May 1st this unusual trio of all the '1's' is seen 17 minutes late at Trowbridge with empties from Acton. A little squiff of cloud spoils the shot slightly but can't complain as by this time the cloud had rolled in.
