On Dec 21, 2014, Mayor Ras J. Baraka, the City of Newark’s Office of Community Engagement hosted a free Toy Distribution for Newark children at the CityPlex 12 Theater.
The City partnered with CityPlex 12 and G-Wiz Entertainment to collect and donate new, unwrapped toys. Children also had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus.

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, in collaboration with Turkish NGO IHH, distributed sewing machines among deserving widows. A prestigious ceremony was arranged for this purpose in Lahore. Emir Özbay (Consul General of Turkey), Orhan TASKIRAN (Director Pak Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges), Aslam Bhatti (Outreach Manager Pak Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges), Ulas ERTAS (Yunus Emre Institute Pakistan), Muhammad Hamid (General Manager Turkish Airlines Punjab), Mucahit KILIC (Projects Coordinator IHH Pakistan), Kasim OZKAYA (Purchasing Manager IHH Pakistan), Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat (Secretary General AKFP) and Shahid Iqbal (Executive Director AKFP) graced the event.
On a good note, I may have found a Producer's Rep. to help this film get distribution. On a bad note, I have to make some fixes that will take me at least a month, and I am SO sick of this damn movie! We are in pre-production for our 2nd film and this has caused some turmoil.
