“4me4you” visits Lazarides Gallery, which featured the work of Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto aka Vhils.
Lazarides Gallery.>>Dissonance explores notions of increased saturation and dilution of personal identities in contemporary urban societies, reflecting the uniformity and abstraction brought about by the current model of globalised development. The collection speaks of how individuals are shaped into increasingly abstract personalities by the overpowering force of the city and its visual stimuli, becoming lost to the dissonance that results from the chaos engendered by technology, visual communication and mass media, by public space and urban development.

Thank goodness for Kauai Family Bakery's Special Rainbow Pie (specially created this day by the dude himself). A triple layered meringue, the bottom being lemon, the middle being lime, and the top being guava, covered in whipped cream and settled in a pie crust. Thank you, for you've got me going through the day.

Toad’s Place was transformed into a deathcore sanctuary last night as Whitechapel stormed the stage for their *Hymns in Dissonance* tour stop. Fans packed the legendary York Street venue for an evening of relentless energy, guttural vocals, and crushing riffs that reaffirmed why Whitechapel remains a dominant force in modern metal. My Md Atlantic's Eric Mallinson was in the pit and among the fans keeping our fans #active and capturing all the action on stage.
