These are real swords.

This is a window display that I thought was pretty cool. My dad used town co-own an women's clothing store in Mason City, IA, and my mother and grandmother used to design the display windows. I thought that maybe the would find this image entertaining. Oh...and one more thing, I like "totally" have a huge teddy bear collection! So cute!
