2016 Classic Belle has been completely deboxed. She is standing, supported by a Kaiser stand, and is holding Chip in her left hand.
Detailed photos of the 2016 Classic Belle 12'' doll. I love her face, and her widow's peak. But her hair is parted into two sections for packaging. After deboxing it is hard to join the sections neatly, especially since the bottom curls are very stiff from hair product. Her glittering yellow ball gown is very beautiful and move accurate from the front, and has a nice round shape when deboxed. But the gathering and satin ribbon decoration are not continued in the back. Unfortunately, this is usual for the gowns on non-LE Belle dolls. Chip is very light, and can be balanced nicely on her gloved hand. But I find his face a bit creepy, rather than cute. Belle has yellow flats once again. Even though she wears flats in the movie, I would rather that the doll wore heels.

Singing Ariel is fully deboxed. She is standing up, supported by a Kaiser stand.
I got the new Disney Store 11 1/2 inch singing Ariel doll on Monday July 9, 2018. I also got the Cinderella singing doll at the same time, whom I will show separately. They are showing up in various Disney Stores both here in the US and also in the UK, but are not yet available online.
She is in much simpler packaging than previous singing dolls, and has no accessories. She is also less expensive than previous singing dolls, only $19.99, just $5 more than a regular Classic doll. Ariel has a lovely new face paint that is different than the current Classic Ariel doll.
Ariel sings 'Part of Your World'. Ariel is in mermaid form, with a purple bra that has a large blue gem in the middle, and an iridescent dark blue-green tail with light blue-green fins.
I have deboxed Singing Ariel and will post detailed photos of her soon.
She has a pink cloth flower in her hair, with a yellow jewel in the center. It is tacked to her head with a T-tab. There is glitter on her bra, and in the tulle fins and fringe around her waist, but sheds very little, if at all. Her satin tail is iridescent, and has outlines of scales printed in black. She has the new style rubber legs, with internal click stop knee joints, and fixed flat feet.
But I have bad news about her singing. She only sings one verse of 'Part of Your World', which lasts about 12 seconds, and that's it. I thought that was just the Try Me mode, but there is no pull tab, or alternate switch position to make the song segment longer. And when you twist her hand again, the same verse repeats itself. Boo! The previous Ariel singing dolls (both 12 inch and 16 inch) all sang three verses of the song, lasting about 30 seconds. Some of the other 12 inch singing dolls from past years would sing 2 verses, or about 20 seconds of their song, but this new Ariel only singing one verse is very disappointing, despite her low price compared to past singing dolls.
Classic Disney Princess Rapunzel Doll - 12''
US Disney Store
$14.95
Released online June 10, 2013.
The new Classic Rapunzel doll for 2013 is a great improvement over the 2012 version. She has the same head mold as before, but tweeks to her face makes her much prettier and closer to the movie character. Her eyes have less dark green and more light green, making her eyes much brighter and less creepy. She has an additional eyelash on her left eye, but the same number (two) on her right. She has lighter eyebrows. Her lips are a paler and lighter pink. More significantly, they are centered and more even, so she is no longer smirking. Her hair is the same style, but shorter by an inch or two, so it no longer reaches the ground. Her dress is much more movie accurate, with the bodice changed from dark purple to their proper pink color. Her satin skirt has light purple skirt with a floral pattern in dark purple glitter, and a plain light purple center panel. Her dress is missing the organza sleeves. Finally she is now barefoot, as she should be, shedding the purple flat slippers of the 2012 doll. I still prefer the original 2010 DS doll or 2011 Parks doll, but this doll is a much better than the 2012 DS doll.
A major change, common to all the 2013 Classic Princess dolls, is the replacement of the fully articulated legs with the old rubber legs, with fixed angled feet and internal knee joints. I would rather that they fixed the problems with the 2012 legs, but the rubber legs do look a lot better, with the disadvantage of being much less posable.
The 2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection, released on June 10, 2013. They consist of 11-12'' articulated dolls of the 11 official Disney Princesses, from Snow White to Merida, as well as Princes, Villains and Sidekicks. Images from the US Disney Store website. When I get the dolls in person, I will also photograph them boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. I will also post reviews and comparative photos.

Minnie with the slipcover and plastic covers off. She is now in clear view from three sides and above. She is attached to the cardboard backing, plastic supports and the built in display stand.
Here are detailed photos of the 2018 Minnie Mouse Rock the Dots Limited Edition Signature Doll. I picked her up in person at my local Disney Store on release day, Monday January 22, 2018, which is also National Polka Dot Day in the US. She is also available online in the US and European Disney Store websites. She is the sixth Signature Minnie doll to be released by the Disney Store, but the first Signature Minnie doll that I have bought for my collection. She is #2405 of 6000.
She is 11 inches tall to the top of her head, or 12 inches to the top of her ears. She has rooted hair and eyelashes, and her ears are covered in her hair. She has a rocker style outfit, with black faux leather jacket, white shirt, red double layer tulle skirt with silver glitter dots, and a red satin underskirt. She is wearing black leggings, and faux suede boots. She had molded white plastic gloves, large red cloth bow, and red plastic rimmed sunglasses. She also has a black purse hanging from her left wrist. She comes in a designer style case, with black plastic base, clear acrylic cover, with a black and white polka dot background. She also comes with a cardboard slipcover.

2016 Classic Snow White has been completely deboxed. She is standing, supported by a Kaiser stand (not included with the doll). The bluebird figurine is perched on her index figure (he can also be placed on her thumb).
Added detailed photos of Snow White. The glitter covered cape is a bit stiff, but I do like the glitter skirt, since it keeps its shape better than a plain satin skirt. It is similar to the skirt of the 2014 Classic Snow White and the 2013 Singing Snow White 12'' dolls. However, the gold glitter from the skirt does shed, and found its way on her rubber legs, even though she had tissue paper wrapped around them. The best new feature of this Snow White doll is the blue bird figurine. It's claws can grasp the doll's index finger or thumb very securely. It is reminiscent of the blue bird that comes with the LE Snow White 17'' doll, but is much less accurate and realistic, as it is entirely blue except for his eyes and beak. My doll came with hair that was a bit messy and lopsided, but she still looks very pretty. I will post side by side comparisons with previous Classic Snow White dolls soon.

The Belle 12'' doll standing, supported by a Kaiser stand. She is wearing her pink winter outfit, with her cape off. Her ponytail was a bit messy after taking it out of the hood of the cape, so I combed it to make it as neat as I could. It was curly, and off center. There was a nice pink bow in her hair above the ponytail. The pink and red dress was covered in glitter, which did shed. The half length sleeves had large ruffled cuffs. Belle looks dainty in her pink dress without the cape and hood. I also left out the bluebird in these poses.
Detailed photos of the dolls in the Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set, deboxed. They include the 1/6 scale Beast, Belle and Gaston dolls, and the Philippe plush. Beast and Belle are in their winter outfits. I show Beast and Belle both with and without their capes. The bluebird figurine is included with Belle when she has her cape on. Beast is not that stable free standing, so I support him with a Kaiser stand for these photos.
I just got the Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95) from my local Disney Store (on Thursday June 30, 2016). The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.
Singing Belle has been fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by a Kaiser stand.
I got the new Singing Belle 16 inch doll from my local Disney Store on Thursday August 4, 2016. She is also available online from the US Disney Store website.
She is a very pretty doll and has a nice outfit, but has a rather silly feature of a spinning and light up skirt. The Mrs. Potts figure sings 25 seconds of 'Beauty and the Beast' (10 seconds in Try Me mode). The two features are linked together. You press a button at the top of Mrs. Potts' lid, and brush her against the lower arm of Belle. That starts both the singing by Mrs. Potts and the spinning and light show of Belle's skirt. The skirt is permanently attached to a rotating ring at Belle's waist. The ring is flush with the waist of the doll, so it doesn't protrude and is not noticeable under her outfit when at rest. She has fully articulated legs (including ankle joints, a first for a 16 inch Disney Store singing doll), and fully articulated arms (except that her right arm doesn't have an elbow joint), and ball jointed neck. She has nicely styled hair, a prominent widow's peak and top bun. Her dress is decorated with gold glitter, which does shed quite a bit. Her skirt is separate from her bodice. The bodice is removable, but not the skirt. The skirt, since it rotates 360 degrees, is fully decorated all around, which is a first for a singing Belle doll. She is wearing yellow flats, as is usual. There is a half height stand in the box, which can be used as a makeshift stand after deboxing her. But she isn't too stable in it unless you tie her legs to the top of the stand as she was when packaged. Her skirt is very stiff and floor length, so she can actually free stand, but is a bit wobbly as her leg joints aren't that stiff.
There are Try Me wires that go from the hinge of the box to Mrs. Potts and Belle. The singing and spinning features are activated for about 10 seconds in Try Me mode if you open the front lid far enough. The outer box opens on the side to expose the wires, which can be disconnected from the box. Then they also have to be unplugged from Mrs. Potts and Belle to enable the full length singing and twirling. I was disappointed that the feature stops after only 25 seconds, which is about the length of the songs of the 11'' singing dolls. I would have liked it to last 45 seconds, as with the Singing Rapunzel 16 inch doll.

Deboxing the playset. The inner box has been removed from the outer box, after cutting some tape that was securing it to the outer box. The doll and contents are now in clear view. They are secured to to the inner box by wires, rubber bands, thread and plastic tabs. There are also various plastic and cardboard supports attached to the inner box. The inside of the inner box has a printed image of the walls of Anna's bedroom from the original Frozen movie.
I like this set very much. The Anna doll has the same face that was introduced with the OFA Elsa and Anna doll set, but her hairdo is new. Some of it is gathered into a ponytail (including her white streak), but most of it is straight down her back. She long stiff straight bangs in the front. She is wearing a nightgown, and a simplified coronation gown is included, with two hair ribbons, two hair clips and a crown. There is also a brush, a dressing screen and a chest. The chest opens up and is useful to store the little accessories after the set is deboxed. The best thing about this set is that there is a bed that is 11 1/2 inches long, the same length as the doll, so she can lay down in it without having to bend her knees, or having her feet over the end. The backing can also serve as a backdrop for the set after it is deboxed, especially if the backing is opened up. The set is available online on the ShopDisney site, but I haven't seen it in stores yet.

I got four 2018 Disney Store Sketchbook ornaments in the mail yesterday. They are Mulan Legacy (20th Anniversary), Rapunzel Singing (I See the Light), Ariel Singing (Part of Your World), and Evil Queen as Hag. They are all very well done, but my favorite is Mulan, as her paint job is the best. The singing ornaments are based on Disney Parks small figures that were released in 2015. Each sings about 45 seconds of their song, with good volume and clarity.
They are all currently available online on the ShopDisney site:

#2287 of 6000
Detailed photos of the Cinderella and Lady Tremaine DFDC limited edition doll set that I bought on the release day (September 6, 2016) from my local Disney Store. There were only about 10 people who entered the raffle for the 18 doll sets available. My set is numbered #2287 of 6000. I didn't see any significant flaws when I inspected the set at the register. I didn't get a gift bag when I bought the set, but returned the next day and they gave me one. The set is still available online, and in some stores as of Friday September 9.
Cinderella does have teeth in her face mold. They are painted over to give the illusion of a closed mouth. But at the angle that her head is positioned, it is hard to see the painted over teeth, and the illusion is very convincing.
Cinderella is wearing dark pink high heels with articulated ankles. She has blemish on her cheek that looks like hair product that spilled onto her face. So I was able to wash it off when I took the cover off the display case. Her hair is stiff with hair product, so I decided to leave her hair alone after deboxing, even though it looks a bit messy, and some of her hair curls around her neck.
When I deboxed Lady Tremaine, I unpinned her skirt so it's much fuller. I also unpinned her scarf so it falls freely from her head. It is sewn to her hair. I left Cindy's skirt pinned together in the front (so it looks pleated), but I may free it later.
This is my favorite set in this year's Designer Collection, and has been since I first saw images of it. Cinderella looks even more beautiful in person than in photos. I love her hair color and her face. Lady Tremaine's outfit is outstanding, and is much better than the one on the 17 inch Limited Edition Lady Tremaine from 2012.
I was lucky enough to get Belle at the Disney Store today. There was about 70 people entered in the raffle, the most of any release in the series, so I was surprised and happy that I got picked. She is the sixth and final Premiere Series doll to be released. She is #1132 of 4500. I now have all six of the dolls, all gotten first hand, and am glad that the releases are finally over.
I love Belle's face and hair, her Beast purse and her jewelry, but her dress isn't one of my favorites from this series. My doll has some stains on her face, that look like stray hair product. I will clean them off when I debox her. Some strands of her earrings were stuck in her hair, that I freed when I took all the covers off the doll box.

Gaston 12'' doll, free standing. He has what I presume is simulated stubble on his chin, but it looks more like dirt to me. LOL. His head turns with a little difficulty, because his ponytail is stuck behind his shirt. The ponytail can't go outside his shirt because of the thickness of the collar. His belt is sewn to his shirt. He has black knit tights instead of pants.

Beast and Belle are in their winter outfits. I show Beast and Belle both with and without their capes. The bluebird figurine is included with Belle when she has her cape on. I got LE Aladdin in person from the Disney Store on the release day (October 13, 2015) for the Aladdin Diamond Edition DVD and Limited Edition Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar dolls. He is 18 inches tall, and is numbered 2094 of 3500. He has the same construction as the male LE dolls starting from the 2013 Prince Eric doll, with ball jointed elbows, wrists and ankles. He is in his street rat outfit, with a sword and Abu as accessories. He is barefoot and stands flat footed in the box.
Photos only now being uploaded to my Flickr account a year and a half later. I am missing most of the boxed and deboxing photos. I have added a recently taken photo of the Certificate of Authenticity.
The 2015 Flynn Rider Classic Doll is shown being deboxed. First the back cover is opened up by cutting the seals around the edges. Notice that the tabs from the front plastic cover are taped to the backing, unlike that of the Princess boxes. The tabs are freed from the backing, then the front plastic cover is removed. The doll is now in clear view, and some photos are taken before I free the doll.
I received the full set of all the 2015 Classic Princess and Prince dolls on June 29, that were released online on June 22, 2015, on the US Disney Store site. There are 11 Princesses (Snow White through Merida) and 10 Princes (The Prince through Flynn Rider). Elsa, Anna, and the Fairy dolls have not had a 2015 makeover yet. The 2015 version of Classic Hans was released in June 26, but I do not have him yet. I have not seen any of these dolls in stores yet, but they should be in stores by next week. I also do not have the 2015 Anna or Elsa dolls yet, that were released on July 6.
The Princes have the faces of the Fairytale Designer dolls, which is especially noticeable for the Beast. The Belle doll finally has a widow's peak to match the animated character's hair style. In general, I like the changes in the dolls over last years. Since they have finally changed the Prince dolls, I will buy new Prince dolls for the first time in years. They are also on sale for 2 for $20.

Classic Disney Princess Belle Doll - 12''
US Disney Store
$14.95
Released online June 10, 2013.
I don't like this new Jasmine doll for 2013 as much as the 2012 doll, although in some respects she is more movie accurate. She is very similar to the 2012 doll, with some small changes. She has the same head and hair, but her face has lighter eyebrows (dark brown rather than black). She has the movie accurate solid triangular earrings again that the 2011 doll had, but keeps the solid plastic necklace. They are a lighter golden color and are now shiny rather than dull. Her outfit is similar to the old outfit, but is bluer in color, and is missing the sheer organza peplum. Also the silver glitter is now arranged in an abstract pattern. The large oval torquise gems at her waist and headband are gone, replaced by a single small round purple gem in her bodice.

Merchandise sold by the UK Disney Store for the upcoming Disney movie Oz The Great and Powerful. They were released in some UK stores on February 14, 2013, online about a week later. The LE China Girl doll was released online on February 22, 2013, and sold out in a few hours. The 14'' (35 cm) China Girl doll is identical to the one sold in the US under the Tollytots brand; in the UK it is branded as a Disney Store product. Notice that it is being sold for the same price as the other non-LE Oz dolls, even though in the US it is much cheaper ($20 vs $34.50).
Evil Queen Disney Villains Designer Collection Doll
Personal Photos - Deboxing
The doll has now been entirely freed from all shipping restraints, and has been removed from the doll stand. The dress was VERY tight and unyielding around her legs, so lifting her out of the doll stand took quite a bit of effort. The next step is to undress her in order to remove the protective plastic around her upper legs. Also it allows her outfit and accessories to been shown separate from the doll.
The deep purple velvet dress is sewn to the cape and collar. The collar is white two layered satin. The cape is black velvet with a red satin lining. The gloves are deep purple satin. Her crown, which is sewn to her hair, is matte finish golden plastic, with small ruby rhinestones.
Here her dress and cape has been put back on the doll. Her sticky rubbery legs made it difficult to pull her very tight dress up over her legs and hips. Here I was questioning whether I should have removed the plastic wrap around her legs.

Designer Queen of Hearts Doll In Display Case
At my Disney Store, the right to buy Maleficent today was ''raffled'' off to twenty lucky people. There were maybe 30-40 people entered, and I was not one of the winners. So I will have to get her online tonight. There were a total of 13,000 of each doll produced, so there should be no problem getting a doll online.
Individual dolls may be purchased online and in stores beginning on September 10, 2012, and ending on October 15. One doll will be made available on in stores Monday of each week. Then on Tuesday (at 12 am Pacific Time) that doll will be available online. Here is the list of the dolls and their release dates:
September 10, 2012: Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty (1959).
September 17, 2012: Evil Queen, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).
September 24, 2012: Queen of Hearts, from Alice in Wonderland (1951).
October 01, 2012: Ursula, from The Little Mermaid (1989).
October 08, 2012: Mother Gothel, from Tangled (2010).
October 15, 2012: Cruella de Vil, from One Hundred and One Dalmations (1961).

Deboxing Classic Belle. The front clear plastic cover has been removed. Belle and Chip are still attached to the cardboard backing, but are now in clear view.

The new Classic Maleficent doll has been fully deboxed and is posing standing up with her arms outstretched. She is supported by a metal doll stand (not included with the doll). She is photographed from all angles.
Review of Classic Maleficent Doll
Her head and face are much more movie accurate than that of the Designer Maleficent, but don't approach the accuracy (and beauty) of the Mattel Great Villains Maleficent doll. She has a head that is considerably larger than the Mattel doll, and it does look too large for her body. Her molded horns are made of hollow black pastic that is glued onto her head. Her 'hood' is a molded part of her head. The horns are missing the purple lines demarking the sections. They have a matte surface, which doesn't look or feel quite as nice as the velvety surface of the Mattel doll's horns and hood. Her head is long and narrow, with a aquiline and very long chin, which is not as pointy as is should be. Her face has the same pale green color as the Mattel doll and movie character. She has narrow beady black eyes with purple eyeshadow from her lids to her arched thin black eyebrows. Her wide mouth has bright red lips and form a scowl. Her overall expression is gloomy, as if she has just heard very disappointing news. I like the Mattel doll's expression much more, which is that of gleeful, smug, evil satisfaction, as if she is just about to vanquish her enemies, which is more in keeping with Maleficent's character. The Mattel doll also has deeper red lips, more like blood red, which I also prefer.
Classic Maleficent has the same body construction as the other 11-12'' dolls in the 2012-2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection, that started with Classic Merida in April 2012. Her skin color is a pale green all over, except for her molded black horns and painted on black panties. She has neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle joints. Her head is on a ball joint that allows 360 degrees rotation about a horizontal plane, and tilting 10 degrees down, 30 degrees back, and 30 degrees towards the left and right. Perhaps I was a little too forceful testing the tilting of her head for this review, since her right horn started to become unglued from her head. :( This was after these photos were taken. I will have to superglue it back when I get a chance. Her shoulder have ball joints 360 degree rotation in a vertical plane and tilting about 90 degrees from the vertical. Her elbows are also ball joints, that allows 90 degrees tilt inward and 30 degrees outwards. Her wrists are hinge and pivot joints that allow 360 degrees rotation and can tilt 90 degrees backward and 45 degrees forward. Her hips have ball joints that allow rotation about a plane 30 degrees from the vertical, and tilting 30 degrees outward. Her knees are hinge joints that allow tilting 80 degrees backwards and 10 degrees forward. Finally her ankles are hinge/pivot joints like her wrists, allowing 360 rotation, 45 tilt upwards and 80 degrees downwards. She has much more posability than the Mattel Maleficent. She is missing the red painted nails and magic black and gold ring of the movie character and the Mattel doll. Also her green neck is exposed, when it should of be the same color as her horns. The Mattel doll completely covers the neck with a black inner collar.
Her outfit is consists of a dress and a cape, that are sewn together at the left shoulder and connected with a velcro fastener at the right shoulder. It is entirely made of satin, in black or dark magenta, and is removable. The dress is form fitting slinky black satin with a magenta center panel. It has very large sleeves that have saw tooth pattern pointing down (simulating flames), and drape over the arms. They are black on the outside, and magenta inside. The collar is magenta facing forward, and black in the back. The full length cape is black on the outside and magenta on the inside, with sawtooth pattern at the bottom, simulating flames. She has black high heeled shoes, that fit very snuggly on her feet, so I removed the rubber bands that secured the shoes to her feet for shipping. The outfit looks good, but is simplified compared to the one in the movie, or the one on the Mattel Great Villains Maleficent. Also the Mattel doll's outfit has an outer layer of black velvet, which looks and feels much more luxurious than the Disney doll. The Mattel doll also has an inner dress of red satin, and a layer of purple organza in the sleeves and outer collar. However, Mattel doll's outfit is not removable, and it and the doll's construction makes her have only one natural pose - the one that she has in the box.
She has no accessories. So she is missing her magic scepter and her companion raven Diablo, that were included with the Mattel Great Villains version of Maleficent. Without them, the doll looks incomplete, especially in her trademark pose with her arms outstretched.
First look at the newly released Classic Maleficent 12'' doll. Maleficent's look (the doll and her outfit) is based on her appearance in the movie, and is much more movie accurate than the Designer Maleficent doll (September 2011), who was ''re-imagined'' as a fashion doll.
2012-2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection Maleficent 12'' Doll
US Disney Store
$14.50, or 2 for $20
Released in stores December 30, 2012
Purchased in store January 3, 2013
Not yet available online
I went to my local DS on Thursday January 3, 2013 and snagged two of the brand new Classic Villain 12'' Dolls, the Evil Queen and Maleficent. They were just released in some stores this past weekend, and are not yet available online. My store did not have the new Jafar yet, but will get him very soon. I also got Mother Gothel, who is in the new ''Posable Arms and Legs'' package so presumably has the new knee and ankle joints that the 2012 Classic Princess dolls have (first introduced with Classic Merida). The new Evil Queen and Maleficent dolls also have the new leg joints. They were all part of the 2 for $20 Disney Princess Classic Doll sale, even though they are brand new releases. I will post photos of all of them boxed, during their deboxing, and fully deboxed, both alone and with other comparable dolls.
Here is a group photo of all the Disney Store and Disney Parks Limited Edition 17 Inch dolls from my collection, of official Disney Princesses from animated movies, plus Anna and Elsa from Frozen. So I have omitted the male dolls, villains, and the dolls from live action movies, Alice movies, Moana and Elena of Avalor. There a total of 36 dolls in this group, which I have arranged in 6 rows of 6, grouped by movie and ordered (from front to back) by the date of the first doll released from the Disney movie. There are 6 each of Snow White, Anna and Elsa, 5 of Aurora, 3 of Belle and Jasmine, 2 of Merida and Rapunzel, and 1 each of Tiana, Cinderella and Ariel. There are two official Disney Princesses that don't have 17 inch LE dolls yet, Pocahontas (who is getting one on March 6, 2018), and Mulan.

Always wanted to compare favorite dolls :)
Each of them beautiful in their own way! And Mattel, and at DisneyStore very beautiful Elsa and Anna!

Designer Cruella De Vil Doll In Display Case

I got the Anna and Elsa Doll Set for Olaf's Frozen Adventure, from my local Disney Store on Wednesday September 27, 2017. They are in the new Holiday outfits, made of faux suede. Elsa has a cape attached to the back of her dress, and has a fur collar with embedded red jewels. Anna has a jacket that is sewn to her bodice. They both have the new style rubber legs with flat feet. Elsa has flat heeled ice shoes, which are a loose fit. Anna has boots with low heels. Anna is about 1/4 inch taller than Elsa (11 1/2 vs 11 1/4 inches), which looks awkward when they are side by side. They both have new face sculpts, for the first time since their original Classic dolls were introduced in 2013. I like how they look, but I like Elsa more than Anna. The old faces looked younger and cuter, but the new faces are more movie accurate.
