Disney fans will love Saks Fifth Avenue’s holiday window displays this year. In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the department store has transformed all of its Fifth Avenue-facing windows into scenes from the beloved fairy tale. When you go, you'll see incredibly detailed vignettes of Snow White frolicking among adorable woodland creatures, the seven dwarfs singing their famous song in a crystal cave and the Wicked Queen being, y'know, wicked. As a bonus for Disney fans, notice the Hidden Mickey on one of the bedspread patches!
Even thought I haven't seen the displays of the other department stores, I think I've already found my favorite for this year!
Belle : The doll is from the 2011 Classic Film Doll Collection. I changed her outfit with the 2010 Classic Belle Doll and add in more ruffles. I also curled her hair as she originally came with long straight hair.
Beast : The doll's head is the new mold and the body is the 2010 Classic Beast Doll body with full articulation. He is wearing the 2010 classic doll's shirt, vest, pants, boots, and the new doll's tux that I removed the beast's hands and tail.
These are all of the twelve inch dolls there were old Jasmines and new Jasmines and also Belle. Didnt see any Rapunzel though
The comfy Snow White mini doll by Disney Store is standing next to the newly released Rock Candy Snow White by Funko. The mini doll is posable and is 6.5 inches tall, the Rock Candy is a vinyl figure that is in a fixed pose.
I got my pre-ordered Snow White Rock Candy comfy Princess in today from Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS). She arrived well packed and in perfect condition. She can free stand, but is more stable inserted in her base. She is 5 inches tall. As with many of the Rock Candy comfy Princesses, she isn't standing up straight when either free standing or on her base. In her case, she is leaning forward. She has green flats, light green pants, blue top with the poison apple image, and a large red bow on top of her jet black hair. She is cross eyed, with big brown eyes, and puckered bright red lips. She is holding up a red apple in her left hand, and has her right hand behind her back. She is very cute, and is very well painted.
She is no longer available from BBTS, but she can be pre-ordered from US Amazon for $13, with free shipping with Amazon Prime (available on March 21, for delivery by March 25).
