The goal for the evening was to both celebrate the current arts in Aberdeenshire and offer a look to the future. It has to be explained that the day before the Artachat was held letters from Aberdeenshire council were sent out to arts organisations explaining the current funding cuts that will be implemented in the forthcoming year.

Sparrow B (the middle one): I've got a problem.

Sparrow M (rightmost): What kind of problem?

SB: I don't know Mr. Might-be Vampire's dog's name and I'm going to meet the dog this weekend. All along, my gardener friend and I have been calling his dog as "his dog", "Mr. Might-be Vampire's dog". That doesn't sound right isn't? That dog has a name. If one day he overheard our conversation and found that his name wasn't mentioned, and he was being referred to "his dog", "that dog" - I think he will feel sad.

Sparrow N (second rightmost): Point agreed. I like sparrows address me as Sparrow N! Not that sparrow, or this sparrow.

SB: Exactly. But I don't know his name. Does anyone of you have any clue?

Sparrow X (leftmost): Since his owner is nicknamed "Mr. Might-be Vampire", he might be named by his owner as "Mr. Might-be Dog"?

SB: That's silly. A dog is A DOG. There won't be "Might-be".

Sparrow T (second from the left): Maybe his name is Birdseed?

SB: Hahaha. That's my kind of name. Oh I love birdseed, as much as I love sweetcorn. But I'm not sure if he is given that name by Mr. Might-be Vampire.

N: Hmm. What name would Mr. Might-be Vampire give to his dog? Heartbeat? Dagger? Tomato Juice? Dracula! Batman? Spiderman? Superman? Lovesick? Hyper!

M: Or humanized names? Like? Tom? Jerry? Tim? Romeo?

X: Or maybe vegetable names? Like Rhubarb? Sweetcorn? Spinach? BakChoy? Carrot? Daikon? Turnip? Broccoli!

SB: T, do you have any idea?

T: I still stick to Birdseed.

SB: OK... maybe I'll give these names a try and see if Mr. Might-be Vampire's dog will response to my calling. Oops. Near my bedtime. So that's about the end of discussion. Thanks everybody!

(Everyone else: You're welcome Sparrow B)

SB: Good night Mr. Blackbird. Good night Mr. Might-be Vampire (from my gardener's friend too). And good night Mr. Birdseed (that's the temporary name till I find out the name).
