On a wider scale, the Forum should compile and distribute Islamic texts relating to relevant social issues to raise awareness of the Islamic philanthropic heritage amongst the international NGO community. Delegates also decided it would be beneficial for the efficiency of NGOs and for their relationships with government and donors, if a monitoring body was established that was specifically aimed at Muslim faith-based NGOs.
