Santa Cruz Reads presents John Steinbeck's "Grapes of Wrath" discussion on the theme: nature. Thursday, February 28, 2012 at the Downtown Public Library Branch.
This discussion followed presentations by representatives from the WIAA and When We Were Young Productions. WWWYP recently signed a contract with the WIAA to compile, broadcast, and distribute copies of WIAA tournament and regular season sport events and games. WWWYP is seeking affiliate agreements with state PEG stations to supply coverage and taped content of local school sports.
WAPC Fall Conference was held Friday at the Beloit Cable Access Studio in the ABBA facility in Downtown Beloit.
The centrepiece of the LCC Festival of Journalism and Art (11 July-12 August 2016) was the exhibition Very Now which opened on Tuesday 12 July with a Private View and panel discussion.
The exhibition featured work by UAL students alongside pieces from David Birkin, Jeremy Deller, Laura El-Tantawy, Peter Kennard and Cat Phillipps, Broomberg and Chanarin, Edmund Clark and Lewis Bush, and the Private View included a live sound performance by Graham Massey.
The panel discussion brought together Alfredo Cramerotti, Laura El-Tantawy, Peter Kennard and Cat Phillipps; and Crofton Black.

Davis & Elkins College students in the Freshman Seminar class Foundation of Physical Education, Sport Management and Exercise Science gain perspective from alumni on making the most of their college careers and get advice on how to set the course for their professional careers.
