It is a truth universally acknowledged that a recent married man who is one of the few men at a party must have babies thrust upon him.
The baby is Joshua-who-is-Fi's-baby. He was pretty good. He liked Andrew pulling faces at him, and he didn't gum on Andrew's glasses, he gummed on Miles's glasses, which shows discernment.
I'm not behind the camera, a random party guest is.
Also why are there only two photos on all of Flickr tagged borrowed baby?

My mind used to be filled with such a lot of rubbish from my childhood, youth and adult life. By the time I reached my mid thirties I was a very disturbed and dysfunctional person. My soul (mind, will and emotions) was overwhelmingly anxious and afflicted. It was the Word of Truth, the powerfully miraculous and awesome experience of allowing the Spirit of the Lord to come and transform my muddled mind. I now have such clarity and discernment, peace of mind and purpose. No drugs (medication or narcotics), no alcohol, no depression, no anxiety, no turmoil or dysfunction. Just a calm steady flow of beautiful thoughts from a mind set free and focussed. All I had to do was give up, let go and let God do a perfect work in me. Now I love that place of vulnerability.

So I'm bad at this uploading everyday thing, so it'll come as it comes.
I found my dream house the other day. Its exactly everything I've ever imagined I would want, its perfect. Its blue and white, has a built in photography studio, a guest house out back, a porch and a white picket fence.
But it is so far out of my reach.
1 Kings 3:5-13
5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 11 So God said to him, "Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both riches and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.

God Is at Work
Scriptures: John 5:16-19
Throughout the Bible, we observe God at work in people's lives. Sometimes He acts in dramatic fashion, as in parting the Red Sea to allow the Israelites to escape the Egyptian army. At other times it may appear as if He's not taking any action. Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus that their brother needed His help, but Christ delayed before traveling to their home (John 11:3-6).
Our Father has given us the Holy Spirit to help us recognize His presence and handiwork. The Spirit cultivates spiritual discernment in us so we can understand when and where He's at work.
In addition to spiritual discernment, we must develop patience because the Lord operates according to His timetable, not ours. After being promised numerous descendants, Abraham had to wait until he and Sarah were beyond childbearing years before she conceived. Impatience can cause us to take matters into our own hands and make mistakes.
The Lord's efforts can bring delight, as was the case when Hannah bore a child (1 Sam. 1:27-2:1). His plan can also lead through painful times, which was Joseph's experience. Before the Lord elevated him to a position of authority to help his family, Joseph was sold into slavery and unjustly imprisoned.
Jesus told the disciples that His Father was always at work and so was He. We will be encouraged and strengthened in our faith when we recognize the ways in which God is operating. These glimpses of His handiwork will motivate us to stay the course and help us maintain a godly perspective on life.
