The 5 Greatest-Pleasures In Life
Knowing God Intimately. By this, you can unlock the secrets and treasures of the manifestations of God’s presence, power, authority, and protection. You also must crave, receive and experience God’s wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment; along with His great, supernatural-favor! (Psalm 23; Psalm 91)
Operating Fully And Effectively In Your God-Given Assignment. You must know what to do with your life. Time is valuable; and the clock is ticking. You can only truly succeed when you devote your life and all of your energy, time and resources to the very thing that God has ordained you to do. What are you good at? What are you not good at? What interests you? What does not interest you? What do you enjoy doing? What do you not enjoy doing? These are all questions you must ask yourself often, starting very seriously with all you are doing with your life, time and energy now.
Becoming Wealthy And Healthy. You will excel in these, by being productive in the vocation and calling God has given to you. Wealth and health will afford to you the opportunity to exercise every best available-option to live the best possible life, here on earth. We need to have everything we need and want; and succeed in all the things we need and want to do. (3 John 2; Isaiah 48:17; Psalm 66:12)
Having The Best-Relationships. You must receive this, and enjoy the many benefits that having the greatest-relationships gives and provides. We also derive even more-pleasure, by giving, and by pleasuring others, by sharing the blessings in our life that God has graced us with. God wants to give us His best, for our-relationships, both in work, and in play. We, in turn, can praise Him even more for all of these! He will make available to us, His special gifts for us. We will love, enjoy and cherish the great people God connects us with, and enjoy the great relationships and events as a result!
Having God’s Security And Protection. In addition to the other previously listed Blessings, we need God’s security and protection. It is vital for our well-being in this life. It is not enough to have great things; we also need them to be protected from all evil, and all evildoers. The devil and his evil-friends are infidels and idiots. Always remember that! They are not rational. They are evil, and they work in irrational and greedy ways. But they can never, ever have their way with us, because God is on our side! The Blessings of security and protection are also offsprings of God’s Word, Wisdom and Wealth. Let a ‘dividing-line’ be drawn between the righteous and the wicked. Notice I did not say the sinner and the saint. I have painfully discovered that not everyone that tries to name the Name of Christ is real! God’s Wisdom and Discernment, learnedness and maturity that He develops in you will bring you into the depths of His security and protection. Take your past wounds as learning and development experiences, and use them as stepping-stones! You will know what to do and how to operate next time. Be a learner. Explore in your mind, and with wise counsel, how to ultimately-protect everything that you are, and everything that you have. There is evil in this world. And there are many crooks, liars and cheaters around, especially in certain cultures and environments. You know what I mean. Take every precaution you can when embarking on any great mission or endeavor. You are wiser now after your many life experiences, aren’t you? There are many practical-procedures in doing this naturally, which we can get into later… therefore, first, find your place of obedience to His Will. It will bless you and protect you.

The body indicates purposeful action (Kriya shakti). The mind is the repository of will power (Ichcha shakti). The Atma is the power of discernment (jnaana shakti). Purposeful action comes from the body, which is material. The power that activates the inert body and makes it vibrant is will power. The power that induces the vibrations of will power is the power of discernment (jnaana shakthi), which causes radiation of energy. These three potencies are represented by the mantra, Om Bhur Bhuvah Suvaha. Bhur represents the earth (bhuloka). Bhuvah represents the life force, conscience in man. Suvaha represents the power of radiation. All three are present in man. Thus, Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati dwell in the human heart.
Men are prone to exhibit passionate (rajasic) qualities like anger and hatred. They are the menacing manifestations of Durga. The extolling of the Divine in song and poetry and the pleasing vibrations produced by them indicate the power of Saraswati. The pure qualities that arise in man, such as compassion, love, forbearance, and sympathy, are derived from Lakshmi.
When people worship Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati externally in pictures or icons, they are giving physical forms to the subtle potencies that are within them. The unfortunate predicament of man today is that he is not recognizing the powers within him and developing respect for them. He goes after the external, attracted by the physical forms. The relationship between the material and the subtle has to be understood. The remedy for man's life is contained within himself. But man seeks remedies from outside.
What should we do during these ten days of the Navaratri festival? Convert your will power (Ichcha shakti) into a yearning for God. Convert purposeful action (Kriya shakti) into a force for doing Divine actions. Convert your power of discernment (jnaana shakti) into the Divine Itself. Divine Discourse: 9 October 1994

What’s Next To Do?
"If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them." [John 13:17]
Be determined to know more than others. If you yourself do not cut the lines that tie you to the dock, God will have to use a storm to sever them and to send you out to sea. Put everything in your life afloat upon God, going out to sea on the great swelling tide of His purpose, and your eyes will be opened. If you believe in Jesus, you are not to spend all your time in the calm waters just inside the harbor, full of joy, but always tied to the dock. You have to get out past the harbor into the great depths of God, and begin to know things for yourself— begin to have spiritual discernment. When you know that you should do something and you do it, immediately you know more. Examine where you have become sluggish, where you began losing interest spiritually, and you will find that it goes back to a point where you did not do something you knew you should do. You did not do it because there seemed to be no immediate call to do it. But now you have no insight or discernment, and at a time of crisis you are spiritually distracted instead of spiritually self-controlled. It is a dangerous thing to refuse to continue learning and knowing more. The counterfeit of obedience is a state of mind in which you create your own opportunities to sacrifice yourself, and your zeal and enthusiasm are mistaken for discernment. It is easier to sacrifice yourself than to fulfill your spiritual destiny, which is stated in Romans 12:1-2. It is much better to fulfill the purpose of God in your life by discerning His will than it is to perform great acts of self-sacrifice. “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…” (1Sa.15:22). Beware of paying attention or going back to what you once were, when God wants you to be something that you have never been. “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know…” (Jhn.7:17).
