A portable CCTV with a folding handle, this Pebble device magnifies small print very large and in several color modes.
First short video for my job, photographing a friend and colleague in a demonstration of how he uses a mouthstick to dial a standard office telephone at his workstation. He uses the speaker on this phone. Of course, most of the time, Dan prefers to use his SAJE cellphone system with a headset and the Communicator software that allows everything by voice commands.
I used iMovies to upload and put a title card with the short video. I don't know how to do anything else yet, but I've got to learn fast since I have to produce 5 or 6 of these in the next week. I imagine that some of my friends will be interested in this demonstration and thanks, Dan, for being a good sport.

BTW, this was actually my class on disability awareness for deafness and hard of hearing training. We used the towels to simulate how it would be as a hearing impaired person to communicate and receive information. Worked great and all attending class today got a copy of the Towel Day website information and the introduction and first few paragraphs of the novel.

A pillkeeper with large, raised labels and Braille may still be hard to read for someone who is vision impaired. A lighted magnifier helps a great deal.

Have a keyboard on your desktop system or a laptop where the letters are hard to read? Use stickers in high contrast colors to make it far easier to use. This set of four label sets are in the most common color contrast combinations. I highly recommend this, as I use it myself on my own work laptop.

This muñeca is too adorable with her pig tails and gorgeous eyes, a true doll.
Muñeca means doll in Spanish and is commonly used to describe the natural beauty of little girls. I knew I had to design a Muñeca tee for the Spanglish Collection. I call Ella muñeca about 100 times a day lol. Boy moms: the male version would be muñeco!
Love Is Blind starring Actor/Music Therapist Arsi Nami and April Lam has been chosen as the Official Selection of 2017 We Care Film Festival in India. A festival promoting disability awareness, remove the myths, misconceptions, prejudices and stereotypes about disabled and disability among society through the medium of films.
Love is Blind is also elected into Hollywood Screening Film Festival as a Semi Finalist. A Film where Arsi Nami plays the lead as Giovanni, as well as the composer of it's soundtrack

Spinal Cord Injury Day (SCI) is observed on 5th September every year with the objective to spread awareness amongst the general public. It is presumed that awareness would facilitate an inclusive life for people with disabilities and ensure greater chances of success of prevention programs.
The term ‘spinal cord injury (SCI) refers to damage to the spinal cord resulting from trauma or from disease or degeneration. Spinal cord injury (SCI) has devastating physical, mental, social, sexual, and vocational consequences for the injured. The injury also increases the economic burden on the person and on his or her entire support network.
The common saying is, ‘Prevention is better than cure '. However, where a spinal cord injury is concerned, ‘Prevention is Cure’. In many cases, it is carelessness, recklessness, ignorance, or bad posture that causes spinal cord injuries.

I watched my kids and friends hike their 100 miles through photographs and loved hearing their stories. I didn't think I would ever be able to hike, let alone 100 miles in less than 6 months! I was diagnosed with a neurological movement disorder called Dystonia in 2015, I have trouble walking. Hiking was off my radar. After living vicariously through my friends and family, it was my turn to try. I started using trek sticks, began slowly and kept going. As long as my feet move, I'll keep hiking.
