Having spoken to the Directior I found out they could well continue filming until 8pm. I decided to leave as heavy rain was forcast. This Rolls Royce I spotted in the carpark on the way home had been used during filming the previous day.
here it is!!!!
("Hide and Seek" - Imogen Heap)

^PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen if you haven't heard the song before!! it's one of my favorite songs of all time; its so sad, gentle, haunting, raw, childlike, intense, full of emotion, mournful, jaded, simple, wistful, rich, nostalgic, unique, breathtaking, beautiful, and chill-inducing all at the same time. if possible (like with the Angels & Airwaves photos) i suggest listening to the song while looking at the picture (on black, please!!).
i hope i did a good job of representing the song in the photo. in my eyes i did.
i listened to this song a LOT in the month or so after my boyfriend broke up with me out of the blue this past summer and also created a lot of drama within a particular group of friends which left me feeling alienated and alone; none of those friends would talk to me. i would listen to this song a lot then because it talks about mourning things as they once were before they were suddenly and rudely interrupted, and living in their wake. i think i empathized a lot with that.
so for me, this picture very much represents the feeling i had sometimes during that time - the vulnerability and lonliness, namely.
P.S. we're all fine now! :) it was a rough time...it lasted through the entire summer, but eventually we all talked it out :)
WOW, THIS was a somber description....i am completely sorry about that, haha! no one worry, im 100% fine now. seriously. everyone is.
...
ANYWAY,
this is my first ever levitation, so i welcome constructive criticism! feel free to tell me how i can or should improve some things - nicely though, please!
(i know the hair is awkward-looking) i had no clue how to do one of these going in, so i just kind of guessed. (:
this picture was 7 hours of work! and i dont know if that does or doesnt sound like a lot to you, but let me give you a roadmap: i started setting up stuff in this room for the picture(s, there's other - albeit completely different - ones coming) at around 12 midnight. i finished editing at 7 AM. 7 hours is a lot of work on a photo when theyre in a row! and when you dont know what youre doing, i guess....ahahahahhaa (:
well anyway, im done talking. enjoy the picture, and feel free to throw out pointers!!!! :D
(oh and p.s., my friend allison is doing an independent study at school as a choir directior, so this semester she gets to direct our choir in a choral arrangement of this song!!!! im so excited to sing it!!! aaahhh!!!!)
Here we have "The Last Hunter," an infamous Italian 'Namspoitation picture with shades of "Apocalypse Now." "Police," also on the insanely rare D&S label, is quite obscure. Then, on the right, there is "Intent to Kill" with no one other than Traci Lords. TheD&S International video label was a workhorse during Korea's VHS era and put out a lot of grade B (and Z) films on tape. ;-)

I volunteered for Mayor Bruce Harrel's One Seattle Day of Service. The description of this task was "advocacy". I did not realize until I got there that today was also the street fair. I asked people to come into the booth and use the ping pong ball I gave to vote for which of six options they thought the organization should advocate for.
Here is the link: www.udistrict.org/index.php.
There were many interesting and friendly people there. Next to us was a booth for the Unity Museum. While Cory went to get me a tee-shirt, I met with Zabine who it turns out was the executive directior of the museum, she is Bahai and I was interested in that religion so we had a nice talk. Also she speak wonderful German and that is always a real treat. She then insisted on introducing me to Amy who is also on the board of the museum. It was a wonderful day, so if you can do it get out there and volunteer for a day or two a year.
I see I failed to pull my scarf completely out of the tee-shirt, oh well.

Closing night dinner on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Kork Wine & Cheese, Catered by Catering THE Event.
Soldier Three (Rein) moves to the cell after hte long string of doors. He opens hte cell, and literaly drops the girl, still bound and hooded, inside.
Laurick Scarbridge follows suit almost immediately, and chucks Rai inside in a similar unceremonious manner.
Jaina Lefevre hits the floor and yelps, then groans and squirms. "Rai? " She listens, sweating in the hood.
Rai Pawpad yowls as he hits the floor, and squirms around trying to get to his knees. "Jai! " He shakes his head in the hood, biting at it.
Laurick Scarbridge reaches up and taps his ear, "Think I heard something."
Soldier Three (Rein) steps into the cell, moving to each kid in turn. He would pat them down. Searching. He'd remove their shoes, and anything that wasnt "necessary" clothing. ANd shove it all outside the cell
Soldier Three (Rein) leaving you both still bound, he removes your hoods, and then all items that hte hoods kept him from removing. Including goggles, hats, necklaces, etc.
Laurick Scarbridge tilts his head as a few scrambled noises hit his ear. He looks to Three, "Do you hear that?"
Jaina Lefevre looks over at Rai as the hood comes off, then up at Ciro, eyes narrowing. She's scared shitless...and pissed.
Soldier Three (Rein) removes their bindings and stands up over them, looking at each. "The Director wants you." he lookd to Four and nodded. "The others are under attack. I'll radio the directior, then we move out. For combat."
Laurick Scarbridge nods his head, "It's a sound plan, I'll bring extra shells and grenades! Kwa hoo hoo hoo!"
Jaina Lefevre waits until the two move, then slowly gets up and edges over towards Rai, backing herself against the wall. "Under the bed is safest." she whispers to him.
Soldier Three (Rein) steps out of the cell and closes it, listening to the electronic lock snap into place. H etries the cell
Soldier Three (Rein) mutters into his throat com once hte cell is secure, notifying Tres. He nods to Laurick.
Rai Pawpad rolls to one side, watching them. He's whispering softly. "They don't know what they're doin. Don't know that the wrath of the King is comin down on their heads."

Chauncey Hurlbut (1803–1885) was born in Oneida, New York, and moved to Detroit in 1825. He worked as a saddler and harnessmaker for a few years, then went into the grocery business with his brother-in-law. In 1837, Hurlbut bought out the grocery store, and continued in the trade until his death. Hurlbut was also heavily involved in public service, serving on the board of the fire department, as a city alderman, as a directior of the Detroit Board of Trade, and as a sewer commissioner.[8] Hurlbut also served on the Detroit Board of Water Commissioners from 1861-1863,[9] and again from 1868 to 1885.[10] He was president of the commission from 1871 onward,[8] when he presided over the original acquisition of property for and planning of Waterworks Park.[9]
When Chauncey Hurlbut died in 1885, he willed the bulk of his fortune, some $250,000,[3] to beautify Waterworks Park.[5] The architectural philosophies of the era called for construction of monumental gates at the entrances to public places, to symbolically separate the park from the hustle and filth of the city.[5] Part of Hurlbut's fortune was used to construct just such a gate.

We were driving down a road this last Saturday and saw this place. As usual we turned around and went back to find out what was going on here. It is a distillery that distills fruit alcohol which is tasteless but high percentage alcohol used to increase the percentage of alcohol in wine. It is a very interesting system for fueling the boilers. They use just about any thing that will burn and much of the fuel is manufacturing by product. I didn't ask the Gentleman James what the name of his company is so we will just use "Jame's Distillery." Thanks for the interesting tour and permission to take photos! Pictured above from the left is Jame's son, James, and my art directior and supervisor. (hehe)
The towers in the center of the picture are the condenser for cooling the alcohol when it is being distilled. The tubes running overhead is what transports the biomass to the boiler for burning.

Libro 7 – Concierto.
Libro 9 – Madrigales y canciones Debida a tres voces (1651)
L’Orfeo
