Although I was just in New York 3 weeks ago, this is from my trip there last May. It's a view from my room at the TriBeCa Grand Hotel.
The old architecture in downtown NY is fascinating and eclectic and is one of the main reasons NY (and San Francisco for the same reasons) is in my top 2 favorite cities.
What makes this photo relevant to my latest visit is that I found out if you hang a left at this intersection and go all the way until the street ends, you'll walk directly into Whiskey Tavern, a great little pub in Chinatown. Check it out!

-35. We are looking in a SW direction and across the bay of Subic Bay; we see the new Korean Shipyard of the other side of the bay.
This view is from the hill, Mt. Boovillao on the map, inland of Santa Monica Subdivision in Subic Town, Subic Bay.
The Peak Hill behind Santa Monica in Subic Bay.
It’s a prominent hill on the east side of Subic Bay, between the bay and that hill developed suburb development called Santa Monica. Many of us sailors have bought a house or have rented one in Sta. Monica. After the Mt. Pinatubo eruption it got flooded a few times. Some of us have climbed that steep hill and I did again 2017-04-19 and took these high resolution images. This hill is located in the Matain River Valley. So these pictures are of the Matain River Valley. I included at least one historical image and a couple older ones. On the map the hill has this name Mt. Boovillao.
