One Direction performs at Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park, Sydney, Australia
Today One Direction mania broke loose at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.
It may have been Friday 13th, but 3,000 Australian fans got lucky to be part of the huge crowd that made up the enthusiastic audience.
The British boy band has teenage Aussie lasses screaming for more, with the occasional tear been shed for those who miss out on their deepest desires.
Hours before Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn and Louis took the stage at the Hordern Pavilion, they were screaming in anticipation of seeing the Fab Five sing their hearts out.
The matinee show sold out two Sydney concerts in under three minutes kicked off at 3.45pm with an entirely appropriate teen anthem Na Na Na.
The performance was a slick mix of song, video, dance and audience participation.
The lads are well practiced at at working the crowd, with smiles all around, finger pointing and all that. In time its expected that many of the boys will further develop their vocal, dancing and even song writing prowless.
One Direction merchandise was selling fast, as you would expect, with young ladies parting with $40 for T-shirts, $20 bucks for a program.
Some not so lucky fans who couldn't get a ticket, despite strong rumours of on site scalpers, came to snatch up some merchandise at any price.
The place went nutso times 5 times 3000 when the boys played hits What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing. The teen fans hung on every word.
One Direction this afternoon jetted off to Melbourne to prepare for their Logies performances.
We wish the fab five well on their developing careers and hopefully female fans will only be shedding tears of joy, as the boys continue to send the lasses hormones in overdrive, as the media and marketing machine continues to give Australia an overdoes of One Direction.
Meanwhile Australian media and marketing experts wonder if or when the boys will be back to Australia for seconds, or if they will soon focus on offshore endeavours, having milked down under for all she was worth. Go for it boys.

This cake was a lovely Vanilla Butter cake, covered in fondant with one direction ribbon and photo toppers.

I'm really enjoying playing with some new processing techniques while incorporating my previous, more realistic techniques into my workflow. It's a little bit of a different direction from the hyper realistic processing style, but I think it spices things up just a bit.
Thanks for lookin' and have a magical day!
802106 has carried the 'Lily's Kitchen Proper Food For Pets' vinyls since the 6th November and has been a big pull for photographers as (a) anything is better than the drab GWR green livery and (b) it might not be around for long. This was my first opportunity to point a camera at it though my preference would have been a static station shot in full sun. A moving shot with the sun in the wrong direction and reflected glare was not my preference but here it is at Teignmouth on the 10.15 Penzance - Paddington. The vinyl wrap advert is only at one end. If you have a dog or a cat and are thinking of trying Lily's Kitchen on your pooch or moggie then you may need a bank loan. Pedigree Chum and Jellymeat Whiskas it ain't.
for this photo I put my camera on the couch and took this photo wearing all back to highlight the contrast between my room and my clothes. I then lowered the exposer and decreased the saturation
The Constitution of 1812 Bridge, also known like La Pepa Bridge (El puente de la Constitución de 1812 or Puente de La Pepa in Spanish), is a new bridge across the Bay of Cadiz, linking Cadiz with Puerto Real in mainland Spain.
Cadiz's first bridge, the Carranza bridge, was inaugurated in 1969, and is now crossed by some 40,000 vehicles per day. In 1982 the Spanish government accepted the need for a second bridge.
It will have two 180m pylons, one in the sea and the other in Cabezuelas Harbour, a 540 meters span and a 69 meters of vertical clearance. The bridge also includes a 150 meters removal span. The bridge is actually on service.
It is the second bridge that crosses over to Cádiz from the mainland, after Carranza bridge, and one of the bridges of greater height in Europe with gauge of 69 meters and 5 kilometers in total length. It will be a suspension bridge with large towers: 187 meters of the sea and 181 meters of earth. Its the third access to the city, along with the isthmus San Fernando and said Carranza bridge. Given the large width of the board, it will be a bridge high capacity communications: motorway with two lanes in each direction and two lanes reserved for metropolitan public transport such as the new tram system.
The bill was drafted by the engineer of roads, canals and ports Javier Manterola. The works were scheduled for completion in 2012, coinciding with the bicentenary of the Spanish Constitution of 1812 which was written in Cádiz. However, due to cuts in public works required by the current economic crisis, the work is more than three years late.
In summer 2013 the work had progressed but at a slower pace. Later, since early 2014 the work progressed at a good pace, highlighting the installation of its cable-stayed span and hiring more staff working every day (including night shifts). In the first half of 2015, the bridge structure is completed, providing full completion in September of the same year.[2]
As data highlights:
The earlier draft described a arch bridge whose total length was 2.3 kilometer y 55 meters.
The total length of the current project, viaducts and links is 5 kilometers: 3096 meters on the bridge of which 1655 meters will be over the sea, with a main span of 540 meters record of Spain, with one hundred meters more than the bridge engineer Carlos Fernández Casado, famous engineer of roads, canals and ports, the reservoir Barrios de Luna. Besides the vain is the third largest in Europe suspended class, after Rio-Antirio Bridge and Normandy bridge.
The maximum height above the sea level is 69 meters, with two pylons 187 meters, making it one of the tallest bridges in Europe.
They are 30 meters higher than the pylons between both sides of the Bay.

Wasn't sure which direction to go this morning so I decided on north. Turned out to be a good choice. I found two birds that I hadn't seen yet, a Sedge Wren and a LeConte's Sparrow.
Sedge Wren seen along Horse Creek Road north of Cochrane, AB. Another new bird to add to the list.
