Tropical Luau 21st Birthday Party Invitations
Not too much changed with the center page. I did find that when I showed the guest and menu page to people, they were sort of confused at first what they were looking at. The little tiny "guests" and "menu" tags I had on the luau characters were hardly noticeable so I moved them to the page of the page and really enlarged it and angled them to match the body copy.
21st Birthday Party Dinner Invitations
In the previous version I had "twentyfirst" laid in white sideways over the 1 in the 21... After I printed it out I thought it'd be a little distracting so I removed it... I think it may work a little better.
Party Invitations - I then flipped rotated all the type on a 45 degree angle and I feel it works well with the longer vertical format.
I added a quick background color to see what it'd look like. Not sure if I like it.
21st Birthday Party Dinner Invitations
Next I added some color to help with hierarchy since I had some of the lines laying right on top of each other. I also photoshopped the shot glasses and removed the las vegas logo.
Here is the first version I have of the dinner invitation cover. The party is a 21st birthday party theme... I wanted to incorporate half text and half image with this concept with the text being the shadow of the glasses.
Originally I was going to have different type of alcohol drink glasses but had trouble finding separate images that would match.
I pushed some very vibrant colors with this concept... I like the idea but I feel the type needs a lot more work.
Suggestions?
Party Invitations - Trying out some additional bg textures...
I change some of the type to white and it is really popping with the orange. This orange may be taking away from the shot glasses a bit too much.
Dinner Party Invitation Version 2
Here is another version of my dinner party invitations. I tried placing this one the computer however found that I enjoyed laying it out on pen more.
I like how the bottom half looks but the top part looks a bit static to me... Suggestions?
Party Invitations - I then flipped rotated all the type on a 45 degree angle and I feel it works well with the longer vertical format.
Tried adding a textured background instead of a solid color. Not sure if it may be fighting too much with the first shot glass.
I think the "you are cordially" invited looks the weakest right now, not sure what to do with that.
Here is a quick revision after looking at the last mockup... Maybe the black text helps read much better?
The sorceress know how to free herself, though, but most of this fight she spends bloodied and dangerously close to 0 hp. It doesn't help, that some of the enemies can daze us with their attacks, which prevents quite some tatical maneuvers on our side.
I stagged the text and reduced the color combos to two. I also picked a darker pink so it can be read better. Should I have the colors alternating or does it look okay grouped for the middle and the ends?
