Rides and dinner over, it's now time to say good bye to the Crown Regency and its ultra friendly restaurant crew. Bless them! Here is the receptionist at the restaurant who greets diners, checks their tickets and then lets them in. Another thing I found it hard ot get used to in the Philippines- a major 5 star hotel's restaurant closing at 21:00 hrs. Too early in my book, esp. coming from Dubai, where dinner starts around 19:00 and goes on till 01:00 at least! This lady was about to leave, but was good enough to pose for this picture as we waited for the elevator. (Cebu, Philippines, May 2013)

What about us? You must take a picture with us as well, the rest of the crew said. And so here I am with the friendly restaurant crew putting on the famous Filipino pa pogi pose. (making a smile with your fore finger and thumb), while the lady in the foreground puts on the famous pacute (kiss) posture. The lighting in the hall unfortunately left much to be desired, and with the crew standing at the very end of the hall, beyond the string of lights, this is the best could manage with my little Sony. While it was the ladies who were really fooling and making me laugh, the guys were more restrained, but were friendly nonetheless. Dessert anyone? Love that smile! Indeed, of all the 18 countries I have visited so far, although people everywhere were generally friendly, I think Philippines takes the cake! May their tribe prosper! (Cebu, Philippines, May 2013)
Enough of tomfoolery and joking around, time now to grab a bite. A section of the buffet in the Crown Regency hotel. The Edge coaster and Extreme skywalk rides are on efloor above and we could see this restaurant through the glass panels above as we were coming down to eat. (Cebu, Philippines, May 2013)
Now that I was off the hook, all that fear had helped work up a good appetite, and so it was din din time. A gala 7 course meal buffet was included in the package. And all with the jolliest, craziest, whackest, zaniest restaurant crew ever! Here the crew joke with me as i come round to pick up the salads. (Cebu, Philippines, May 2013)
