As part of the Work and Enterprise Program – Employable Skills / Bytes4Future (B4F) project, the first day of training for Cohort 7 was launched on 13 February 2026 at the B4F Training Center in Tartous. The activity brought together 40 trainees, 3 trainers, and 1 consultant, marking the official start of a new training cycle under the program. This activity documents the launch of the new cohort and reflects the project’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality programming and digital skills training for vulnerable Syrian youth aged 18–29 who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET). Bytes4Future aims to scale up its model across Syria to help break the cycle of social exclusion and poverty by equipping young people with market-relevant technical skills, enhancing their employability, and strengthening their integration into the labor market.

This activity is part of Bytes4Future (B4F), which is an initiative that aims to break the cycle of social exclusion and poverty through a high-quality digital skills training offering designed for youth (aged 18 to 29), not in employment, education, or training (NEET). Skills acquired lead to a high probability of employment. The initiative responds to two critical issues: The increasing demand for digital skills in the labour market and the need to help vulnerable youth become more competitive in the digital economy. This activity is funded and implemented by AKF.
