As part of the Employable Skills – Continuing Education Centre (CEC) project, and with the support of the Aga Khan Foundation through the Supplementary Fund 2025, a high-quality IT training session was conducted on July 15, 2025, at the CEC Centre in Salamieh, Hama Governorate. The activity targeted one group of 11 learners and aimed to equip them with essential digital competencies for the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) certification. The course, delivered in English by qualified trainers using global training materials, covered core areas including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Information Security. This initiative is part of the broader effort under the Employable Skills – CEC project to enhance the employability and digital readiness of youth, providing them with access to internationally recognized certification. Implemented in coordination with the University of Central Asia, the project aims to increase both employment and self-employment opportunities for youth across Syria.
Communications Specialist Satia Ras facilitates a social media workshop for Biodiversity Team Leaders in Managalas. The workshop aimed to strengthen participants' skills in digital storytelling and enable them to share their experiences and contributions to conservation activities.
