Two figures. One face in shadow. One no face at all.
“The Covenant of Thorn and Bone” is a portrait of rupture and symmetry — the moment when kinship becomes myth, and myth becomes mask. Each crown is earned: one by decay, one by violence. Together, they no longer speak. They simply stand.
This piece is part of my ongoing exploration of ceremonial identity — the ways we armor grief, adorn power, and mythologize the self into something survivable. The work began through AI model training using my own catalog of texture photography and sculptural compositions, followed by digital post-painting to deepen mood and tonal range.
It’s not about who they are. It’s about what they’ve become in order to last.

The form merges a compass and ship's helm, symbolizing navigation, vision, and forward movement. The mark is meant to hold space for brands, creators, and systems as they find their place online with more coherence and care.

The Parade That Never Woke Up is a fever-dream procession through a city that has forgotten how to breathe. A vintage street parade mutates into a surreal invasion one where identity, color, and celebration blur into hallucination.
The leprechaun heads float like ancient gods or dying planets. They are hollow-eyed symbols of synthetic joy, spectral mascots of a holiday no one remembers how to feel.
At the center is a glowing car not a vehicle, but a vessel. It carries no real people. Only avatars of commercialized ritual, grinning through stylized trauma.
The city remains frozen, watching.

“The Lanterns Did Not Lead Her Home” explores false promises and ceremonial illusions. The red figure walks through a hall of reverence but what is it honoring? The path before her is not sacred it’s a mirrored echo of her own unraveling.
I wanted to question the aesthetics of tradition: how ritual can sometimes serve as distraction, how beauty can obscure the absence of belonging.
This is not a celebration. It’s a corridor of memory masquerading as purpose.

We All Come Up Eventually is an invocation of memory that never belonged to you, but somehow lives in your spine. The submerged feminine forms drift between states: are they surfacing from the unconscious, or dissolving into it? The gelatinous orbs neither fully alive nor convincingly inert float in clusters like forgotten origins.
This piece is part of the #10000HourProject and continues my exploration of the divine grotesque. It plays with the dichotomy of fluid and static, sacred and synthetic. Inspired by my own discomfort with beauty as a performed state, the work stages an aesthetic that is equal parts altar and autopsy.
To me, this is what rebirth actually looks like. Messy. Mournful. More echo than event.

Static Reflux stages a moment of interior collapse masked as stillness. The subject, contained within a retrofitted CRT monitor, mirrors the recursive feedback loop of modern emotional processing watching oneself from inside the trap of performance, addiction, and doubt. Her act of biting down on her own wrist is not an escape; it’s a gesture of simulation one that echoes across a body built to endure being watched.
The surrounding tissue, pulp, and artificial eyes belong to the machine, not to her. They are the viewers, the watchers, the statistics. I wanted to ask: how does self-harm evolve when the surveillance is spectral, pixelated, and passive? Is the bite rebellion, rehearsal, or ritual?
