Its pretty cold here, below freezing, so time to grab a good friend and warm up :->
I'm test driving those new Swallow ears for the drop effect and teamed them up with some perfect pieces by Oatmeal, which come with a nice colour hud. I'm also rocking the Oligron tattoo by Vegas, which is a 3/4 body piece. Both available now at Men Only. In Japanese legend the Tide Jewels were two pearls presented by the dragon sea-god Ryūjin to his daugher Otohime when she went to live with her human husband, Hoori. After emerging from the sea she transformed herself into a human form. It was believed for centuries that Ryūjin was the cause of Tsunami waves, using the Kanju and Manju pearls to ebb and flow the tides. He was both feared and thanked in equal measure at temples - he was credited with destroying invading fleets. Fun fact: Asian dragons are different in each country - Japanese dragons only have three toes and tend to be more serpent-like.

Bit of a chaotic writhing mass with the ultimate Danger Noodle, the utterly utterly gorgeous dragons from Black Cats poses. Zoom in to see it in glorious HD pixel detail. You can't be the daughter of a dragon king without lots of sparkles, and Kusari is rocking the Frostbitten body gems from Static which comes in a large range of colours. I gave her a suitably dragon-esque crown by adding the hellguard set from cinphul.

With hindsight, Henry regretting dropping in on Mrs. Jones at number 48 to borrow a cup of sugar.
Engine Room is now open, so many beautiful things...I'm starting with something for the ladies who have a large collection of items this round and this outfit caught my eye. The backdrop I'm using, Ritual Path, was created by a lovely little store currently at the Aenigma Waltz of the Demons Event and I recommend her creations if you are fond the Dark Gothic Aesthetic with a Japanese twist. Hanging from the walls are the animated Depraved curtains from Cinphul that added a nicely dark feel to the scene. I picked up the new Serenade outfit by Toksik which has a stunning 3d gold braid, and added some dark Gothic edge with Lux Aeterna's halo of crosses.

Latin for 'Gods feed the Ravens.
I am very lucky to have some Ravens who sit in trees around my house from time to time. These birds are rare in my part of the world as old superstitions nearly had them wiped out completely by overzealous medieval hunters. I was taking this pic as one of them started to call out, fitting considering the theme of this image. The saying is quite an old one, related to battlefields.

Quest'anno è un 8 marzo decisamente sottotono, almeno qui in Italia, per onorare il giorno dedicato a quella straordinaria creatura che è... la donna.
Donne molestate, torturate, perseguitate,
Donne e bambine abusate, violentate, uccise,
con una brutalità tale...
che lascia senza fiato.
Madri senza più figlie,
figlie senza più madri.
Mariti, compagni e padri... carnefici.
Contro una così terribile ondata di violenza, oggi, questo giorno, vorrei si tramutasse in un silenzioso abbraccio
per tutte quelle donne che, loro malgrado,
sono diventate... angeli,
prematuramente, senza un motivo,
senza alcuna possibilità di ritorno...
In special modo, il mio abbraccio silenzioso va a:
Noemi, Pamela, Alessia e Martina...
per questi angeli e per le loro famiglie
un pezzettino del mio cuore e una lacrima.
Il mio angelo intende rappresentarle tutte e ricordarle,
affinchè si possa tornare ad una ^sana normalità^
fatta di gioia e amore (vero) all'interno delle famiglie
e delle coppie che intraprendono un percorso insieme...

Found myself a good seat to watch, hobbling there with my kick-ass leg from a collaborative piece by Wicca and DRD. It certainly puts a new meaning to the term 'shin kicking'. I'm adoring the new THOR hair too by Magnificent, go grab a demo to see the extra detailing.
For the upcoming desert winds I added some drama to the scene with the depraved animated curtains from cinphul (comes with a vast texture hud) and the rather excellent billboard by Von Noir with its rather honest sentiment.

I take it if you lay a flower in front of a cat, the cat will look at you and may be thinking, are you stupid or you think I am stupid. This is Leonah and she is my daughter's cat. She is spoiled and she knows it. Also she is fun to watch when she is in playful mood. My daughter decided to lay in front of Leonah a flower so she can see how she reacts. Her stunned look tells it all.

After a long break, Kagami is back and eagerly awaited by those who have taken part in the previous events. The event is an immersive tale which you follow for clues via descriptive story telling that leads you on a trail to find pieces of the story. When finished, you can wander the paths by the creator booths nearby who have once again presented us with some high quality cool items. I've wanted to create Raijin for a while now so LANEVO's awesome drums gave me a good reason to go and finally do it. I added Lilithe' Nerthus tattoos to give a bit of interest to my chest and as always she includes a large range of different shades so you can mix and match to your tastes.
