Watch Ananda Leeke talk about her new weekly #STB10 Twitter #socialtv project at Blogalicious 2010 on October 10, 2010, in Miami, Florida. She has fun taping the video while eating lunch with her PR coach Xina Eiland (http://xinaeiland.com and twitter.com/xeiland) at the Four Seasons hotel. There are some funny moments on this impromptu video!
EVERYWHERE co-founder James Andrews' keynote presentation on social tv convinced Ananda to rethink her #STB10 Twitter chat strategy. #STB10 is a hashtag that refers to Sisterhood the Blog 2010. Ananda developed it to track her Twitter conversations, DC-based focus groups, and online radio shows about her Sisterhood the Blog book project. Sisterhood the Blog is a memoir about Ananda's Internet experiences from 1986 to 2011. She includes how women on the Internet have influenced and inspired her life. She is using the information collected on Twitter as research for her book project. Click here to learn about the book project and Kickstarter fundraiser: kck.st/avHVlu.
As a result of James' presentation, Ananda decided to launch #STB10 #DigitalSisterhood Wednesdays on Twitter beginning October 13. Her #STB10 #DigitalSisterhood Wednesdays will give women in social media a weekly opportunity to build and strengthen their communities. Each week women will be encouraged to celebrate and promote their digital sisters by using the #FF (Friday Follow) format to list their digital sisters' Twitter IDs. Women will also be encouraged to tweet about their digital sisters' businesses, wisdom, creativity, blogs, Facebook pages, causes, videos, web sites, etc.
