Swapped out Summer Seifuku Haruhi's arms onto the Winter Seifuku Mikuru's body. This needs to be done since Mikuru's body is quite different from Haruhi's.
My new toy, just out of the box.
I have been wanting a camera with a high zoom, mostly for nature shots, without having to go the SLR route and buying multiple extra lenses, exchanging them between focal distances, etc. (maybe next camera). I had narrowed it down to an Olympus model, a Fuji model, and a Panasonic model. All three cameras had things I liked, and things I really didn't like about them.
Then I read a press release that Panasonic was updating its model, taking care of the things I didn't like, and added even more features.
A month later, the camera model was finally released. And even though I did the free shipping thing, Amazon took only 4 days to process and deliver my camera (first delivery estimate was September 15).
Unfortunately, I'm not feeling so well right now, so I can't really take any real-world pictures. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.
In the meantime, I am studying the thick user manual and customizing the camera settings.
