Day 25 / 365
Couldn't think of anything to take a photo of today so sat down with a cup of tea and a biscuit. Not sure where the inspiration for this came from :)
Lighting: SB-24 camera right, about a foot above. Skyport triggers.
To figure out how many digestives to crush for the base I filled the tin with biscuits and then added a few more for good measure.
There were at least 50 different items like these being sold at this stall.
Its a pity I was broke or I'd have bought a lot of goodies!
The digestives had been stored in the same container as some coffee beans and had a lovely coffee flavour. Topped them with a raspberry swirl frozen yogurt and whole blueberries. I also made a blueberry coulis by blending berries with a little icing sugar.
Really quite delicious. More at Luscious Temptations
Today the Hereios of the We're Here group are spotting beautiful rubbish.
This colourful and triangular packaging item was spotted in - wait for it - Singapore. Yes, there is litter to be found if you look hard enough. This was in the Gardens by the Bay, where the supertrees are located.
This type of coconut known as karikku in malayalam is specifically used as a beverage. The water inside is sweeter than a regular coconut, and it is used as a tonic. People with digestive disorders are asked to drink this water. And this beautiful orange is just pure joy. In many parts of India, street vendors take these around on little open-top carts. It's one of safest things to get from roadside vendors. When you ask for one, they hack it open in front of you, to expose the sweet refreshment inside.
