If you desire to make a difference in the world,

you must be different from the world.

Thanks for views, faves and comments! ;-)

This picture is the result of a comment in the previously posted picture by Andreas Schulze. He suggested to crop this panorama to the hillside in the background. Thats what I did literaly, What do you think, which one you'd preferr?

Taken through the middle of the lifeguard chair at the pool.

Swallow Tailed Butterfly Gould NL Canada

While Norfolk & Western’s RSD12’s often operated in pairs at Lambert’s Point, sometimes one would get paired with something else. In this case, a close approximation of a second RSD12 came in the form of a notch-nosed RS11.

Same kale leaf, slightly different focus, looking at that wonderful pink vein running through the middle.

Off ( hopefully) in a bit to explore the lanes on the bike, might make it to Southerndown (40 ish miles round trip) unless we get frozen on the way there!

Thanks for stopping

I designed a world of my own

Where there are two moons to dream

Where the long avenue has no end

Where maybe I won't be alone

Because a different world

it's a common dream

Well I have principles or the environment I live in that tells me that this movement is forbidden in all its forms and ways but I really like the picture, I find it a work of art that should not be deleted

Horses is a passion for a lot of peoples, and in here, SecondLife, you can now find a bunch of horses for your liking. That can be either Avatar ones, where you just ARE the horse, Animesh ones, that you can ride or just let roam around your sim, or Riding ones that you add to yourself and ride along ! So, which one is your favorite ?!

Trapezia Crab Spider (Sidymella trapezia)

Much darker in colour and slightly larger than any Trapezoid Spider I have seen previously.

Looking through my files, I couldn't find a good Halloween image, so I made one by blending two different photos:

1 - Night sky with full moon and clouds;

2 - Macro shot of the side of an old car (for those who follow my photostream, the 1939 Pontiac that has been a source of inspiration for me for almost two decades) that reminded me of a flying witch and assorted other creepy things.

Over the next few days I will post some recent shots of the aforementioned car. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Photographed at two different locations that could be anywhere but happen to be in southwestern Saskatchewan (Canada). Don't use this image on websites, blogs, or other media without explicit permission © 2025 James R. Page - all rights reserved.

Again I'm not sure if i like it but it does bring out the detail in the reflection. I don't do much B&W photography but thought i would give it ago.
