This room is part of the Old Royal Palace at Prague Castle and is known as the Diet Hall. It was built in the late Gothic style and used for meetings of the Bohemian Estates. The hall is notable for its impressive ribbed vaulting and the royal throne placed beneath a canopy decorated with the emblem of Bohemia. Here, important political and judicial sessions were held, along with ceremonial events.

Blueberry on scale.
I have to give up on the macros of candy and sweets for awhile. I always end up eating my props.
The tide was receding leaving an amazing assembly of worm casts and tiny depressed feeding pits. They are made by lugworms who have U shaped burrows beneath the sand and seabed. They eat microorganisms and organic debris. They are eaten by curlews, oystercatchers and godwits – plus crabs and fish! Some escape and live for several years.
After charging in the creek after salmon and missing on several swats, this lad decided to take a moment and reevaluate his fishing style…while also contemplating switching over to eating old fat Italian guys!

These Wild Carrot Wasps are amazing in many ways. For one their form with that slim-waist is achieved without dieting. Then that ovipositor strikes fear into any insect larva that assumes it's safely hidden in a hollow plant stem. Wasp 'divines' they're where they are and then needles through the stem wall to stick it to them and to deposit eggs which, when hatched, will eat those larvae inside out. Charles Darwin remarked that this cruelty divested him of belief in a benign god.
The photo shows a female of the species on the left; take note of its ovipositor. The inset has a male, of course without an ovipositor. Both were seen on Limnanthes douglasii (www.flickr.com/photos/87453322@N00/7347522440/in/photolis...).

Here is my lovely Parsley having a snooze in today's scorching weather. For those that are wondering, he is still doing very well! We went to see the vet last Friday and hadn't seen that vet since the beginning of the pandemic. She was utterly amazed. He has even put weight on, which I attribute to the variety packs of fish in broth that I give him on rotation. For anyone wondering, he is on a kidney diet, but we have found that a bit of fish perks his appetite up! He is still on a ton of medication and on the subq's, but only me and my bank account are bothered by it!

A balanced diet is one that gives the body the nutrition it needs to function properly. In order to get a truly balanced diet, one must have a literal interpretation of this concept.
I have decided to start the New Year with ABC Diet which contains vitamins A, B, C, D and E.
ABC DEFinition:
A for Apple
B for Banana
C for Carrot Juice
