Pigeon is a bird under the class 'Aves'. The dilemma is due to pigeons feeding their young ones milk, a trait only seen in mammals. But it is to be noted that it is not only pigeons but also male emperor penguins and flamingos who show this trait.
Thank you for viewing. If you like please fav and leave a nice comment. Hope to see you here again. Have a wonderful day 😊

so know I must reveal 16 random things about me. 16?! Really?!?! I feel very self-centered... but I'll pull some outta my ass...
1. I drink too much. I love wine, beer and liqueur (don't shy away from any). I have one drink almost everyday. It's my way to unwind after the kids are in bed. And when I don't have kids... yikes.
2. I consider myself a "Jack of all trades, master of none." When I put my mind to it, I can do pretty much anything. I can rewire an entertainment system, build a computer, sew an outfit, cave dive, cook a gourmet meal, do the east coast swing, catch a large mouth bass... but I don't think I'm really great at any.
3. I have not befriended a women because I was attracted to her. Just as I would a man if I were attracted to him or vice versa. Like the saying goes, "If you play with fire, you're gonna get burnt." That's all I'll say about that.
4. I don't pamper myself. I go months without a hair cut. I don't get manicures or pedicures. I've never had a facial or spa treatment. I don't spend the money or time on myself. I just take care of myself... at home.
5. I love, love, love popcorn. I used to eat an entire bag every day after school. I limit the carbs today, but I will not watch a movie unless I have a bowl of buttery, salty popcorn on my lap.
6. Every time I go on vacation (even for just a weekend) I create a folder. I have to research on the area and have a game plan. I like to know where to go, how to get there and as much information about the place as possible. Anal... I know.
7. I won a Kareoke award a few years ago. It happened to be a song I knew by heart and sing in the shower all the time... so lots of practice. The drinks I had prior helped me to belt it out too. Good times.
8. My parents were very religious when I was young so we were at church often. I used to "speak in tongues", dance and sing my heart out every Sunday.
9. I have notebooks filled with poems, stories and just mind emptying writings. I keep them hidden.
10. There is not one food that I don't like. I love to try new foods and just haven't found one that I don't like. Snails, frog legs, gator tail, oysters... yummy.
11. I am very energetic, rarely serious and always looking for a laugh. I don't like wining, complaining or negativity. I believe life is what you make it. If you speak bad... well then, it's bad. Mind over matter... you can make yourself happy. =)
12. I used to have horrible menstrual cycles (sorry guys). I mean... in bed the first day, throwing up from the pain, shaking... worse than anyone I've known or even heard about. Now I'm on Mirena and haven't had a period in 14 months! Awesome!
13. I used to live in a small trailer in South Carolina out in the middle of nowhere. There were rats and opossums and other horrors all around. Luckily, it was only for about a year.
14. I smashed my middle finger in the door of a '65 Mustang when I was little. The nail came off and eventually I grew another, but it's bigger than the other one. There went my hand modeling career.
15. I am very sarcastic, a smart-ass and critical (in a joking way). I am never mean or hurtful to anyone... purposely.
16. I don't cry. When my girlfriends and I see a sappy movie and they start to cry... I feel bad and awkward. Sometimes I even laugh. I am emotional but not expressive.

Someone said once that while humans can smell soup on the stove, a dog not only smells the soup, but the chicken, the carrots, the celery, the stock and everything else in the soup on a separate level. But she'd still rather eat my shoes.

A love story painted across the Amazonian sky. These are not just two birds flying together; this is a bonded pair of Scarlet Macaws (Ara macao), famous for their lifelong monogamy. They form powerful partnerships that can last their entire lives. With a lifespan that can exceed 50 years in the wild, 'forever' has a profound meaning for them. To see them soar in such perfect synchrony is to witness a lifetime of shared journeys, a vibrant promise kept on the wing.
The bond between macaw pairs is so strong, they do everything together, from foraging for food to preening each other's feathers. And in the unfortunate instance where one of them dies, the surviving partner either just lives out alone for the rest of their life or even possibly dies from grief.

Grevy's zebras are the largest of the three zebra species. They stand at about four to five feet tall at the shoulder and weigh around 750 to 950 lbs. An adult has a long head, long neck with an erect striped mane; and narrow, uniform stripes. Uniquely, its furry ears are extremely large & rounded. They also have brown noses instead of the black noses (like other zebras). They communicate with each other with loud, donkey-like brays.
Unlike other zebras, Grevy's zebras do not form permanent herds. The only strong social bond is the one between a mare & her foal. After a 13-month pregnancy, a mare gives birth to a foal, which weighs 80 to 125 lbs. Foals are born with dark brown stripes & fuzzy hair coats. They can walk within an hour of birth, and newborns stay close to their mothers at all times for protection & food.
-- Grevy's Zebra 'Did You Know?' --
‧ The Grevy’s zebra is part of the Equidae family, which they share with Somali wild ass and horses.
‧ They were named in honor of Jules Grevy, president of France's Third Republic, to whom the first known specimen of the animal was sent in 1882.
‧ They live in scrubland and grassland in northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia.
‧ Like a human fingerprint, zebra stripes are unique to each zebra.
‧ Adult Grevy's zebras can go up to five days without water, however mares with young foals must drink every day.
‧ Grevy’s zebras are endangered due to competition for resources. Humans use their habitat to support livestock.

Did you know that "during the ice age a dry, frigid grassland known as the mammoth steppe stretched east and north from forested Europe? The largest single habitat on land, it extended from what is now central France to Alaska… Woolly mammoth, woolly rhino, bison, musk ox, giant elk and horse abounded there in a climate far harsher than today’s."
Neither did I until I read Here on Earth by Tim Flannery.

ESA has demonstrated expertise in studying Mars from orbit, now we are looking to secure a safe landing, to rove across the surface and to drill underground to search for evidence of life. Our orbiters are already in place to provide data relay services for surface missions. The next logical step is to bring samples back to Earth, to provide access to Mars for scientists globally, and to better prepare for future human exploration of the Red Planet.
This set of infographics highlight’s ESA’s contribution to Mars exploration as we ramp up to the launch of our second ExoMars mission, and look beyond to completing a Mars Sample Return mission.
This graphic highlights the current situation at Mars, which has six orbiters, one lander and a rover, with more getting ready to join the fleet.
