Yes, no, maybe… oh what to do? For when you can’t make up your mind, just roll the dice.

I’m still learning how to do text on 3D prints and thought I’d try debossing some text below the surface on the 6 surfaces of dice. They came out OK the 2nd try, but they were all black & you couldn’t see the text well, so I used some silver colored wax (Rub-N-Buff) on my finger to highlight all the texture on the surface making the text pop. Bingo! lol.. That’s it. Hope you enjoy. HMM!!

Poker dice are dice which instead of having numbers, have representations of playing cards and are used to form a poker hand.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊

ODC-Good Luck Band Luck

Some consider Dice Good Luck, but depending on how you roll...it could also be Bad Luck!

Wanted to try this type of shot for a while now and lucky for me my beautiful assistant is strong with the 'Force'.

A version of this was my submission for 'smile on saturday' group, however didn't fit the brief.

So ... time to play! ... Silver effects pro in Nik Software!

Experiment with dice and a lantern slide

.. or more like a game of Chance. Photo walk around Bamburgh organised by Nigel Hepplewhite. When I say chance I am referring to the rather inclement weather. So forgive the tinkering with the rather bland sky. Good day out with good company.

Lightbox afternoon

As a teacher, I always had dice in my desk drawer for teaching probability. The only problem was that I could never find them. What are the odds? These dice were never in my desk. I bought them here in New Brunswick for shots like this. lol And, as Dirty Harry once said, "Are ya feelin' lucky, Punk? Well, are ya?" And, yeah before you jump all over me, I know that's a misquote.

Challenge Photo - slow shutter speed. The shutter speed creates the blur while a burst of flash freezes part of the action.

Well OK not quite but there is no footpath on this side of the road outside Rathmore train station so I had to dodge the oncoming cars! Happy New Wall Wednesday, also taken for Growing in the Gaps group, so many plants eking out a life in this old wall. I think these are ferns but I'm not sure?

Those dice are part of Tobi and Me Dice Collection

For Macro Mondays: "Dice"

A whole lot of dice to play with.

Mafia dice requires each player to have 5 dice. The first player rolls their dice, passes any 6s to the player on their left and removes any dice showing a 1 from the game. Play continues with the player on the left. The game continues in this manner until one player is left with no dice and thus wins the game.
