The modern concrete structure of the newly opened Budapest Metro line 4 is an amazing engineering, architectural, and artistic achievement, a mix of stunning concrete structures and trippy ornamentation.

"Green fuel, also known as biofuel, is a type of fuel distilled from plants and animal materials, believed by some to be more environmentally friendly than the widely-used fossil fuels that power most of the world. In the desperate search for alternative energy sources, green fuel has evolved as a possible fueling option as the world drains its fossil fuel resources." www.wisegeek.com/what-is-green-fuel.htm#

This is the beautiful facade of the building next to KPMG in Docklands. The golden afternoon and striking diagonals definitely caught my eye.

Austin City Hall, Austin, TX

Another image from the Flickrwalk over a week ago, Saturday. This is a casual seating area for concerts performed at Austin City Hall.

Austin City Hall was completed in 2004 and designed by stararchitect Antoine Predock. Like many projects by stararchitects this one is slighty strange and definitely eclectic. After many years, I'm still not sure if I like the design or not, but it definitely is not your average building. I guess it's eclectic nature fits Austin. After all, Austin unofficial motto is "Keep Austin Weird".

This is part of gate that I spotted while walking the dogs. I was attracted by the vivid colour, shapes and the strong shadows.
