A famous home here in Northern New Jersey called the Dey Mansion. Now a museum. Gen. George Washington headquartered here in 1780. I just liked it cause it has a big front lawn...

Added two distressed jewell textures ( Neutral Meant and Patch of Blue) as well as my own Paint by Numbers in black and white.

New Haven Railroad ALCO S-2 DEY-5 class # 0609 switcher & Slug DT-1 is seen in the Yard at Hartford, Connecticut, ca mid 1950's. This switcher team of locomotive and slug were used for hump service. The slug was rebuilt for a NHRR EY-3 electric switcher 216 in 1952 by the Van Nest Shop. The slug was and locomotive were both MU equipped for this service to provide the extra tractive effort at low speed that was required to perform the hump duties. Observe the State Of Maine, red, white & blue, box car that is spotted to the left of the locomotive's cab. Box cars from long gone railroads are seen in this view, Southern, Reading, etc.

Another panoramic attempt at an interesting

subject. The light was horribly flat this day. However, the conversations with those that I met here were wonderful.

New Haven Railroad DEY-3 class ALCO S-1 diesel electric switcher # 0980 is seen with its crew while performing its daily switching duties in a yard, 1952. The engineer in his cab window is looking back at the camera and the employee on the end platform is also looking back too. The New Haven had 65 of these ALCO S-1 660 HP switchers, and they could turn up just about anywhere on the system. Notice the air whistle situated near the cab front.

Gorgeous green eyed blonde actress that was acting since the early 1970s but made her name in the corporate 1980s with the smash hit tv show "LA Law" (1986-1994) playing hardnosed sexy "ice queen" lawyer "Grace Van Owen" until 1992. She won the Golden Globe for portraying this character in its 1988 season. Susan is now happily retired from acting which is a shock and a shame for many fans that grew up watching her on tv. *Above photo of a younger dark-haired Susan in 1974.
