For the theme #RaindropsorDewdrops in the group #LookingCloseOnFriday! 😄 Good thing that I took this pic two days ago, as the last two nights were too warm for dew (at least at my wake-up time 😉)

Have a happy Friday 🌞 HLCoF! & TGIF!!!

Osteospermum flower with morning dew from my garden

My first attempt at focus stacking.

This morning I went out to take some macros of the dew in the back yard. After I had taken a bunch that I was certain were going to be good, I noticed that I had taken them all in jpg. I was bummed. Well, I didn't have time to reshoot all of them, but I did get some others in raw.

This particular image is from 5 jpg images. I think it could be cleaner, but I'm pretty happy with the result. And considering how painless it is (PS does all the work), I will likely be trying this again.

Thanks for looking.

The spider webs were all a glow with dew against the morning sunrise.

I bought a few Pansies to plant in pots.

The secret to lots of flowers is dead heading them daily.

Dew drops on Moss

Pansy and dew drops, taken a few months ago.

The Pansy, it would seem, is one of the most alluring of all garden flowers. It’s little faces make most of us laugh when we look at them. The English have given the Pansy many nicknames, such as Call-meto-you, Love-true, Three-faces-under-a-hood, Pink-eyed-John, Tickle-my-fancy, Bird’s-eye, Jump-up-and-kiss-me, God-father, Godmother, Love-in-idleness, Kiss-me-in-the-buttery, Rob-run-the-street, and Heartsease. With such names, it is not strange that the French call it pensee, for this word means thoughts.

Have a wonderful week.

Morning dew on an osteospermum flower from my garden

We look forward to the first new Roses of the season. The first blooms are always the most beautiful ! This one was drenched by a dose of spring rain. The white rose is a symbol of Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality. ... Early tradition used white roses as a symbol for true love, an association which would later become the hallmark of the red rose.

These dew drops produce these pretty colours and patterns when the sun rays catch them at the right angle. The dew drops were on the surface of Nandina leaves. Taken at Queen Victoria Garden, Melbourne in the morning.

Sticking one's beak into the fresh morning dew on the grass results in dew drops. This Canada Goose Gosling was having the time of it's life sticking it's beak into the grass and poking around.
