Two days past Christmas of 2009 and this elderly gentleman is shoveling off a loved ones grave site.
At the local Gurudwara (Sikh temple) last Sunday.I really liked the feel of this picture but I found the head cover of the child a bit too distracting. Also, I could not back up any further as I was against the wall. Not a great shot but it was a nice moment so I thought I would keep it. As usual, comments are most welcome...

Together, at one with each other. I was very much under the influence of Piccaso when I painted this. Primitive imagery combined with a strong need to evoke my feelings towards those close to me. The figures could represent mother and child or they could be partners. It's that ambiguity that I find appealing.
