The Church of St Pancras, Widecombe in the Moor. Described as the "Cathedral of the Moor", the church is late 14th or early 15th century, with an even older font. The remaining, lower, part of the rood screen is 15th century. The tower of the church is 130 feet high. In 1638 it was struck by lightning during a service, and 4 villagers were killed, 60 others injured. Widecombe is the site of Widecombe Fair, held every September, when thousands of people visit this village, which is served by extremely inadequate roads!

Here is Devon she means a lot to me mainly because she was the first person i met from the friend group we are both in. She is so nice and helpful and just a very nice person to be around. She is a great friend and will always be there for us and be there to listen to our problems if we have them. She is just an all around great person, even if she does sleep in class sometimes she will have usually done everything. Devon is in here because without meeting here i would have probably not have been in the group if friends i am in now and not have had such a great time with them.
