Every polar bear has his own guiding star. Mother-bear shows it to her child in the middle of cub's first polar night and then the bear can always ask his star for help when life becomes too hard. But no matter Ursa's mother tried she could not find his guiding star on the sky...
For a long-long time Ursa felt unwanted and neglected by the world around him. However, one sunny morning he has noticed his reflection in the ice-hole. Little sparkling star was right on his forehead and silently waited for him all this time. Ursa asked his star to light the way for him and all the darkness disappeared from Ursa's heart. Everything became possible, no more fears and tears left inside. Ever since, he is happy and keen as mustard. Was it star's help or it's just Ursa has believed in himself?;) Anyways he is able now to be the guiding light for anybody else who has lost and needs help.
No sewing machine or any other kind of machine was used while creation. Only hands, needles, threads, a lot of different materials and a flask of starlight =)

the little meccano man in various sitting poses. my thoughts about this from left to right:
1) relaxing
2) offering company
3) reaching into his bag of goodies
4) explaining to someone standing before him
5) gazing thoughtfully
maybe you have different interpretations? maybe personifying shapes that are progressively far removed from the actual human form, and then interpreting them as human, can give us an insight into the mechanisms we use to read other people?

There are countless ancestral homes found all around Bohol. Some of them are aged centuries-old, back to the days of the Spanish regime. The Clarin Ancestral House is one of those Spanish-style old homes that were duly preserved to pose as tourist spots for the present generation to see and explore.
The Clarin Ancestral House was built in 1840s. It is situated in Laoay, a municipality that is about 18 kilometers away from the provincial capital, Tagbilaran City. It was primarily owned by a former Bohol governor by the name Don Aniceto Velez Clarin. Don Aniceto’s family has a very rich background in politics. His son, in fact, won the seat on the 11th Senatorial district. Their descendants followed through, becoming mayors, governors, and whatnots.
