Final Outcome. Students used cardboard construction techniques to develope a self-portrait influenced by the works of Gabo. Acrylic paint was added to highlight shape, shadow and tone.

In my photography classes. My teacher took this photo of me with an old camera. We had to develope the tape in to a negative form and scan it to the computer. this is the result.

The car is metallic silver, which equals mega reflection.
ORWO UN54 is motion picture stock sold by Filmotec of Wolfen, Germany.
They use the old ORWO trademark, which is their only connection with the ORWO brand of the GDR.
This film is not a artefact of the old ORWO.
I have been working out a development time.
There are 3 types of 'Rodinal' out there & you need Adox Adonal. This is the most recent formulation of Rodinal, exactly as the last Agfa batches were.
The film was stand-developed.
The developer is diluted 1:100.
The tank is inverted for the first thirty seconds to dispell air bubbles & left until a total 40 min have elapsed.
I used a water stop bath before the fixer.

The clouds were moving rapidly during this evening. About five minutes after this shot the sky was solid blue but then more clouds filled in just a few minutes later. The saying 'Timing is everything' sort of fit this setting and reinforced my need to be patient for the right sky to develope.

My grandfather took this of my grandmother in the Ohio country side in 1959. He had his own photo studio and as a little girl used to help him develope his photos.

My Mom gave me 2 rolls of Kodak Verichrome 620 film, That were put away in a old box. The film was shot in the early 50's and we had no idea what could be on these rolls. I was able to develop one of the rolls on the weekend and I am really impressed to see the results.
It is amazing to think my Grandfather shot this roll 53 years ago of my Mom and Aunt as 2 year old toddlers. And here 53 years later I am in my kitchen developing them!
