Queen of Hearts Disney Villains Designer Collection Doll

Personal Photos - Deboxed

The Designer Queen of Hearts doll is completely freed from all shipping restraints. She has also been put into a more natural pose. I actually haven't lifted her off the doll stand yet, but I consider her to be deboxed, since she is now free from all other restraints. Her outfit is similar to Designer Belle's, since it consists of layers of ruffles, with a petticoat underneath, and is floor length. Also like Belle, it is stiff enough to allow her to free stand, which I will try soon.

The slip cover and acrylic top have been taken off the display case. The cardboard backing has been cut from the base, allowing her to be visible from all sides, except the bottom. She is supported by the built-in doll stand. The base includes a silver toned nameplate, and a filigree silver pattern on a black background.

Minneapolis designer Rebecca Yaker designed this dress originally for a Walker exhibit of prom dresses. The sock monkey design won out over a pregnant prom dress idea she originally had. This and another dress were both entered for the Minnesota State Fair, where the other dress (made of fabric appearing like the sock monkey sock and having only two faces) won first place.
