Heres a first take on the second floor, showing three bedrooms and a room with the composting toilet, bidet and sink.
The department has been building up a library of design related reference books over the last few years. Pupils are encouraged to make use of these books on a regular basis. The photographs here demonstrate the tremendous wealth of content contained therein.
The sequence has been shot in such a way that the cover of the book is shown first and a few sample pages are included to give the student an idea of the content the book contains. Pupils may then approach staff and request a short term loan.

Now, I'm taking another pass at it and trying to resolve some of the things that didn't work for me with the mud room, wc room and bathing room. it's still about four feet too long though, to fit easily in any orientation on a Seattle city lot.
A design exhibit held at Burnkit, a Vancouver design house. Prototypes examined the importance of production models, how although they are rarely seen by anyone other than the creator, they serve an integral part in the creative process that leads to the most effective final product.
A collection of student sketches. Good drawing skills are a fundamental part of the design process. It is therefore vital that pupils practice and hone their drawing skills so that ideas can be captured quickly and accurately. Designing, as promoted by the department, should alllow solutions to be drawn from the stream of consciousness. In other words pupils thinking is aided by the process of drawing. What results is genuinely honest evidence that will be used for SQA presentation material.

let me just tell you, designing a deck is NOT very fun. This is what happens when you're working for 12 hours straight through the night and you realize you've done something wrong! Whoo hoo!
the logo is a hangtag / tie... more importantly, represents a little bit of information being distilled from a large bit of information.
Next Shona must consider the range of design issues that will influence the development of design ideas related to the brief. This can be fairly broad at this stage.
