Taking the new camera for a test drive.

This is my husband in action. This is a good example of motion, I was able to really capture the intensity in his face and body. 1/250 F5.6

2022-11-17: Kelly M. Mbokeli, Regional Human Resources Business Partner, Chief, AfDB presenting the slides during the In-Depth Session.

Did you notice the subject? It's a bee! This bee was inside the flower so the ISO had to be raised to counter the darkness of the enclosed space. The petal edges are pretty sharp against the background.

this photo was chosen because i really liked how the shadows stood out

This is the second version / the close up version of the first photograph of depth of field

It took me a while to really get the gist of this exercise.

I chose shallow depth of field on this photo. And I focused on the green glass in the middle

I think what's nice about this one, is that it shows that even though it is really dark outside, your F-Stop and Shutter speed need to be at setting as if you were shooting during the day, because the moon is still really bright. I think I made that mistake before during the Red moon, because I thought it was dark outside, I needed to have a large F-stop and a slow shutter speed, which actually just made the moon too bright.

Traveling from Devon to Cornwall in springtime, you can just see the blur of the bluebells.

Aperture assignment for Digital photo

I experimented with depth of field in my garden. I particularly liked this one because of the contrast of the light flower and darker buds. I liked the contrast of the darker leaves that are in focus and the spotted light coming through the trees above. F-stop 5.6 and shutter speed 1/80

... Midori and bitter. Yum.

for my photography class

I wanted to use a smaller aperture this time around as someone pointed out. It is a good example of depth of field as it brings attention to her nose and eyes and the background is blurred. 1/8 F5.6

I think this is a good example of depth because it somewhat blurred the back objects putting the focus on the pony.

This is another depth of field, kind of similar to the first one. It shows the street I go when walking to the bus and to downtown Mountain View. I has bright colors and the eye can easily follow the road to the center of the picture, showing the use of depth of field.

When looking at it now, I would have straighten it up a bit before uploading it since it feels like the buildings are about to fall.

This is Chinese food, it is not only delicious but also good-looking. I focus on the food, so I think it's a good example of depth.
