I found this photograph in a stack of stuff taken on my Holga and I spent about an hour figuring out what this was.

And all I could think of were sardonic, pseudo-postmodern comments about the meaning of life.

Trevor and I found a new park to go to, well, it's kind of a park, kind of a garden. It's soooo pretty! There are tons of flowers blooming, some nice hiking trails, romantic gazebos, and a fountain. I love it! I will definitely be going back soon!

In my depth of sight I see, the basics of nature staring at me.

The Longing for simpler times and the most basic of needs.

Searching for quite in the rush of getting things done.

In my depth of sight I see, the basic redesign of me.

The Longing for the simple to be more common than weeds.

Searching for a rush of peace before the morning sun.

In my depth of sight I see, the basic creation of love in me.

The longing for a simple life starts with simple deeds.

Searching for anything that brings a sense of calm to one.

In my depth of sight I see, basic ties to the earth and me.

The longing for simple has been found in these tiny seeds.

Searching for nothing as the earth sprouts my daily fun.

"Depth Perception:" Aldous Huxley has stated, "There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception." Looking into this scene, it became difficult for me to tell the depth of the water; some of the submerged rocks were visible below the surface, but the reflections from the trees and rocks above began to play tricks on my eyes. I did end up crossing the creek and found the deepness varied with the undulating terrain below.

Everlasting sky - given depth by the trees on the horizon.

I did not take the best angle because I did not want to move around those girls in an uncomfortable position for them.

They were waitresses at a Chengdu restaurant owned by a friend of mine. I took some shots for them. The waitresses were not part of the deal. :)

A restless wasp exploring all the flowers.

It seems to be two steps forward and one step back. I am holding onto hope and faith.

I sure do appreciate all your thoughts, prayers and kind words. You are such an encouraging community.
