Unbelievable work of art, actors & shadow play ! I’m in shock !!! Not like anything I have seen in a very long time!!!
This ad for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, seen near Times Square in Manhattan, features a young Denzel Washington.
This isnt just your regular neighborhood liquor store, this a location where three murders and a robbery took place in June of 1966 and American boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter was wrongfully accused and convicted of murder. He served 27 years of three life sentences before being released as a free man.
This place is located in my hometown of Paterson, NJ on the corner of Lafayette St. and was once called Lafayette Bar & Grill. I recently drove by knowing the story of that fateful night to find out that the old sign had been taken down and the bar was changed into a liquor store. The story is deep, there was a book written by Carter which was named "The sixteenth Round," a song written by Bob Dylan called "Hurricane" and a feature film by Norman Jewison in 1999 that starred Denzel Washington who played Carter.
Bio:
Rubin "Hurricane" Carter (born May 6, 1937) is a former American middleweight boxer, who competed from 1961 through 1966. Carter, along with John Artis, was convicted twice for the murder of three people which occurred at a bar in June 1966 in his hometown Paterson, New Jersey. He was later released after serving twenty years of three life sentences when a federal judge overturned his conviction.
Boxing career:

Carter is a member of the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame.
Carter now lives in Toronto, Ontario, and was executive director of the Association in Defense of the Wrongly Convicted (AIDWYC) from 1993 until 2005. Carter publicly resigned from AIDWYC when the prosecutor of Canadian Guy Paul Morin, a wrongfully convicted man, was promoted to a judgeship and AIDWYC declined to support Carter's protest of the appointment. In 1996 Carter, then 60, was arrested when Toronto police mistakenly identified him as a suspect in his forties believed to have sold drugs to an undercover officer. He was released after the police realized their error. Carter now works as a motivational speaker. On October 14, 2005, he received two honorary Doctorates of Law, one from York University (Toronto, Canada) and one from Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia), in recognition of his work with AIDWYC and the Innocence Project.
This is just another small part of the great history of Paterson, NJ.......
Seeing this lone fisherman walking towards the end of the pier in the cold wind and the snow kind of felt epic to me. As we passed I warned him about the ice on the pier up ahead and could not resist taking a few shots as he went on his way.
It would fit just right in a scene from "The Book of Eli"....

What you see here is a Howard County, Arkansas employee. I won’t refer him as a man. I have served with real men, and women. He, and another employee, were setting in a Howard County truck, #255. They were setting in, foot sticking out of the door, in the Parking Lot of Horseshoe Bend Rec Federal Area. This is in another county, not Howard County, where they were supposed to be working. Normally, this wouldn’t bother me to much. But, this person got out of their truck and was pictured in front of my truck, talking and laughing with the other employee. He’s walking around my truck, taking pictures. My dash cam is easily seen, just below my review mirror. This is a picture taken from a screenshot, from the dashcam video. I keep the dashcam running, because of constant tampering with my vehicles, and their content.
Koda, and I, go there often; to walk the trails, enjoy the beautiful scenery and get exercise. It gives Koda, a chance to be a dog, and not just my service dog. We often get harassed here; perps will set up in the parking lot, many times; waiting for us to arrive. These guys had a long flat-bed trailer, taking up 5-6 parking places. They covered the area I normally park in. This area has never been busy, but, there are those that park here, just to harass us. I parked my truck several spaces behind them and we headed out for our walk.
We were down by the river; about 100 yards from the truck. I see this guy, walking around my truck. I yell up to him and say “I’ve had my vehicles tampered with out here”. I take my cell phone out and start taking video. He starts hididng behind trees, walking back towards their truck. He comes out from behind a tree, yells down to me “Are you a pedifile”. I said “why would you say that, you don’t even know me”. I’ve never met this guy, he doesn’t know me at all; and he asked if I’m a pedifile. He continues to rant, saying pedifiles have these ticks, like taking pictures. You act like a pedifile. I said, you don’t know me, why would you say this. Does this make you feel better about yourself, does this make you feel like a man? He continued his rant. Koda, and I walked away, and continued our walk. This was on 12-13-24, 1:32pm.
We took an easy trail, get back to our truck, about an hour later. We left, driving by another public area, with a public boat ramp. This was about an hour and 20 minutes later. There, sat the same two guys, in that parking lot; waiting for us to drive by. Still, in same county; not theirs. We got home later that afternoon, so I waited until the following Monday. Then started making some calls. I called the Sheriff’s department, they referred me to the County Judges office. I spoke with a woman; explained in detail what had happened. Within minutes, I received a call from the guys supervisor. He was flabbergasted and apologetic. He said, he would take care of it and make sure no one in his department will be acting like this in the future.
Now, it’s a week later; exactly a week. This time we take the car. Koda, and I head out to the same place for our exercise. As we get close to the entrance; there’s a red pickup truck setting by the entrance. We pull up, and beside this truck. They dart off ahead of us; to the same parking area. There are many parking areas, in this rec area; but they pull into the same spot we normally park in. I park a few spots away. Koda, and I get out, go for our walk. We come back, about and hour and ½ after. There are literally; Kleenex tissues, covered in feces, placed around our car. The truck is gone. We hear another extremely loud vehicle revving it’s engine, as I take pictures of the tissues.
We head for home. As we get to our neighborhood; our neighbors release their children, dogs and anything else they can conjure up. They stand in the middle of, along the side of, our road. This is to harass Koda, and me. We even have an older couple living next door. They enjoy harassing Koda; as we come and go. They harass Koda as lays in our front yard, keeping a close eye on me, while I work outside, or in the garage. They even use their son, grandson, and are now teaching their toddler great grandson; to harass him. There’s even a local police officer; showing up at my door; because I’ve addressed this harassment. He tells me there have been some complaints. I’ll go into detail in an other post. He basically tries to spin their harassment back on me. He tells me; someone has told him that “Koda, is trained in Spanish, to attack and kill people”. I don’t even speak Spanish. My last name is Spanish, that’s all these idiots need, to spread rumors. He literally, starts yelling at me. Telling me there has been no neighborhood meeting (that was a new one to me)! No one is harassing you!!!! No one is harassing you!!!! This all captured on my doorbell camera. What bothers me more than his outright harassment and belittling is; we have millions of good, brave men and women in law enforcement. They put their lives on the line every day. His conduct, tarnishes the valor and sacrifices of these men and women in uniform.
My neighbors don’t know me. They’ve never taken the time to get to know me. It seems bullying has become an ideology in America. If you don’t like someone, their beliefs, or something they may have done; start rumors, innuendos, Bully them. Get your friends, neighbors, relatives; Bully them, harass them. Say their a pedifile, sexual predator; anything that sets someone off. There are many ways to become a Target in America: Whistleblowing, Exposing the Truth, Being Yourself.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, recently said “You can only push a person so far”. Relating to the recent United Health shooting. Something the mainstream media, law enforcement and our legislators wont tell you is; we have children, shooting children in our schools, because of Bullying. We have many mass-shooting because of Bullying. Look at what parents are teaching their kids. I don’t condone this, or any violence, in any way. But, someone has to step up and tell the truth.
People, Gangstalking is real. Neighborhood and Community Mobbing is real. Workplace Mobbing is real. These are vile, hateful, evil people. They spread hate throughout this nation. These people will lie, defame, discredit you. All to cover up this truth. Their hypocrisy is ludicrous.
In most cases; there is nothing you can say to change their mindset. The best we can do is expose them. If you are a Targeted Individual; violence towards these hateful people, or yourself, is not the answer.
Denzel Washington has recently released some very good self help videos, on YouTube. Yes, Denzel Washington. He has some great ones, about how to deal with a narcissist. That’s what most of these people are. They thrive on power, control, taunting. I know this can be overwhelming. Just know you’re not alone. There are tens of thousands of us out here. Someday, the right person willl step up and acknowledge this. It wont be our current legislators. I heard this from someone, on one of Shawn Ryan’s Podcast “Re-elect is not an Option”.

To give your life so others may live in freedom is perhaps the most meaningful sacrifice of all.
About Robert Goudl Shaw and the brave soldiers of the 54th Massachusetts:
The regiment was authorized in March 1863 by the Governor of Massachusetts, John A. Andrew. Commanded by Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, it sprang to life after the passage of the Emancipation Proclamation. Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton decided white officers would be in charge of all "colored" units. Colonel Shaw was hand picked by Governor John Andrew. The soldiers were recruited by white abolitionists (including Shaw's parents).
The 54th Massachusetts primarily was composed of free men. A number of the recruits were from states other than Massachusetts, with several coming from Pennsylvania and New York. Many of the Pennsylvania recruits were obtained in Philadelphia through the efforts of Lt. Col. Norwood Hallowell's brother, Edward N. Hallowell. Two of the recruits were sons of famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass.
The 54th trained at Camp Meigs in Readville near Boston. While there they received considerable moral support from abolitionists in Massachusetts including Ralph Waldo Emerson. Material support included warm clothing items, battle flags and $500 contributed for the equipping and training of a regimental band.
By most accounts the 54th left Boston with very high morale. This was despite the fact that Jefferson Davis' proclamation of December 23, 1862 effectively put both African-American enlisted men and white officers under a death sentence. The proclamation was affirmed by the Confederate Congress in January 1863 and turned both enlisted soldiers and their white officers over to the states from which the enlisted soldiers had been slaves. As most Southern states had enacted draconian measures for "servile insurrection" after Nat Turner's Rebellion the likely sentence was a capital one.
The 54th left Boston to fight for the Union on May 28, 1863. It started off performing only manual labor. The regiment gained notoriety in a raid on the town of Darien, Georgia, after being ordered to loot and burn the town by Col. James Montgomery. The 54th's participation in this raid was minimal and reluctant. Colonel Shaw initially objected to what he called a "Satanic action".
The regiment's first action took place in a skirmish with Confederate troops on James Island, South Carolina, on July 16. The regiment stopped a Confederate assault, losing 42 men in the process.
The regiment gained recognition on July 18, 1863, when it spearheaded an assault on Fort Wagner near Charleston, South Carolina. At this battle, Colonel Shaw was killed, along with one-hundred and sixteen of his men. Another hundred and fifty-six were wounded or captured The total casualties of 272 would be the highest total for the 54th in a single engagement during the war. Although the Union was not able to take and hold the fort, the 54th was widely acclaimed for its valor, and the event helped encourage the further enlistment and mobilization of African-American troops, a key development that President Abraham Lincoln once noted as helping to secure the final victory. Decades later, Sergeant William Harvey Carney was awarded the Medal of Honor for grabbing the U.S. flag as the flag bearer fell, carrying the flag to the enemy ramparts and back, and saying "Boys, the old flag never touched the ground!" While other African-Americans had since been granted the award, Carney's is the earliest action for which the Medal of Honor was awarded to an African-American.
Ironically, during the week leading up to the 54th's heroic sacrifice near Charleston, simmering racial strife climaxed in the New York Draft Riots. African-Americans on the city's waterfront and Lower East Side were beaten, tortured, and lynched by white mobs angered over conscription for the Union war effort. These mobs directed their animosity toward blacks because they felt the Civil War was caused by them. However, the bravery of the 54th would help to assuage anger of this kind.
Under the command of Colonel E. N. Hallowell, the 54th fought a rear-guard action covering the Union retreat at the Battle of Olustee. As part of an all-black brigade under Col. Alfred S. Hartwell, they unsuccessfully attacked entrenched Confederate militia at the November 1864 Battle of Honey Hill. In mid-April 1865, they fought at the Battle of Boykin's Mill, a small affair in South Carolina that proved to be one of the last engagements of the war.
One of several reasons so much is known about the 54th Massachusetts are the letters of Corporal James Henry Gooding. Gooding's letters may be the most extensive recordings of enlisted men's experiences in a black unit during the Civil War as most black troops of this period were unlettered, former slaves. Corporal Gooding was wounded and captured at the Battle of Olustee on February 20, 1864, and died at Andersonville prison.
The regiment was disbanded after the Civil War. A famous composition by Charles Ives, "Col. Shaw and his Colored Regiment," the opening movement of Three Places in New England, is based both on the monument and the regiment.
On January 20th re-enactors of the Massachusetts 54th Regiment marched in President Barack Obama’s inauguration day parade. They were personally selected by President Obama for this honor.
The unit was reactivated on November 21, 2008 to serve as the Massachusetts National Guard ceremonial unit to render military honors at funerals and state functions. The new unit is now known as the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Regiment.
The movie "Glory", with Matthew Broderick, Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington and is based on this regiment.

Denzel Hayes Washington, Jr. (born December 28, 1954) is an American actor, film director, and film producer. He has received much critical acclaim for his work in film since the 1990s, including for his portrayals of real-life figures such as Steve Biko, Malcolm X, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, Melvin B. Tolson, Frank Lucas, and Herman Boone.
His name’s been mentioned since he swaggered onto the screen as Star Lord in James Gunn’s gloriously entertaining comic-book caper GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and now Chris Pratt could very well be about to crack the whip as Indiana Jones. After acquiring the rights to all things...
Denzel was just a little too virtuous for a Black man, so his image had to be defiled...he still should have won an Oscar for 'Malcolm X'!
