The giant people outside the Denver Performing Arts Center

This iconic landmark is found in front of the Colorado Convention Center on 14th street and a popular photo spot among tourists. The 40-foot high bear, which injects a welcome sense of fun and playfulness into the convention center experience, is the creation of local artist Lawrence Argent. It was installed in 2005 and has quickly become a bona fide Mile High City icon
