So, if you've noticed or have been noticing, of late I've been taking quite an interest in writing up exaggerated, fantastical descriptions for my photos. The funny thing is, I've realised I now spend much less time editing my photos than I do coming up with their sometimes totally disproportionate descriptions. I find it quite fun though, perhaps even the most exciting of the whole thing at times! :D
I've been brainstorming for some clever ideas to best describe this photo but apparently it's one of those(you know the ones!) that you know are beautiful in a certain way but simply have very few words for! The only thing I can say is that, as learned from some locals around the area, this bakery(not anymore sadly) is really, really old. It was built by the British, obviously when they were still in power here. Now it's just an abandoned old building awaiting the Demolishing Team (that's what I'd like to call them! :P) to come and end its long and eventful life. Probably named after Queen Victoria. Lots of things in Mumbai are actually, now that I come to think about it. Victoria Terminus, now known by its less attractive name Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, the busiest railway station in Asia; and I live right across the street from it! Then of course there's the most famous of them all -- the Gateway Of India, built in honour of Queen Victoria and her husband who arrived by (the royal?) ship (I forgot its name) and first stepped on Indian soil through that gianormous archway. Now I've said too much! :D
Anyway, here's a question for all of you. Who can spot a pigeon in the photo??? It's right there so if you don't see it, you're probably not looking hard enough; or you're looking, but in all the wrong places! I'm not giving away prizes but it's still a challenge! :D
EDIT: I didn't bother cropping out that tiny bluish-green or greenish-blue whatever at the top right corner of the photo when I uploaded but now it's really starting to bother me! XD
