To reduce cost, temporary buildings are being removed. Our task was to move some office furniture and then remove and reclaim the timber from the 80' wooden walkway between the temporary building and the existing office building.

Murphy does this every morning, he gets up as soon as the furnace kicks on, and snuggles up to his personal baseboard heating vent. I've been meaning to post a shot for ages, but feel like I'm living in a "van down by the river" to have my flickr friends see the condition of my kitchen floor in this detail.

Murphy has been working on the demolition portion of our still-not-scheduled kitchen remodel. He started with the linoleum, then moved on to the cabinets. There won't be much for us to demolish by the time we finally get the money saved up for the full remodel.

We're putting in tile. I'm also wondering if they make cabinets out of Teflon.

Two and a half hours later we finally got to see where the construction crew had accidentally buried the road under three meters of rock when they over blasted the slope above.
