It's great to be totally absorbed in just enjoying a natural event. High water and surging waves over sharp rocks meant an hour sped by. Every shot is different , and the timing was so important, to prevent everything disappearing in a sea of foam. My mind created castles, valleys, waterfalls and cities. Santa Maria, Vergine della notte, noi
t' imploriamo di starci vicino quando incombe il dolore, e irrompe la prova, e sibila il vento della disperazione, e sovrastano sulla nostra esistenza il cielo nero degli affanni o il freddo delle delusioni, o l'ala severa della morte...
Nell'ora del nostro Calvario, tu, che hai sperimentato l'eclissi del sole, stendi il tuo manto su di noi,..., sicché ci sia più sopportabile la lunga attesa della libertà.
Alleggerisci con carezze di madre la sofferenza dei malati. Riempi di presenze amiche e discrete il tempo di chi è solo. Spegni i focolai di nostalgia nel cuore dei naviganti....
Preserva da ogni male i nostri cari che faticano in terre lontane e conforta chi ha perso la fiducia nella vita. Ripeti ancora oggi la canzone del Magnificat, e annuncia straripamenti di giustizia a tutti gli oppressi della terra
Non ci lasciare soli nella notte, a salmodiare le nostre paure. Anzi, se nei momenti dell'oscurita' ti metterai vicino a noi e ci sussurrerai che anche tu, Vergine dell'avvento, stai aspettando la luce, le sorgenti del pianto si disseccheranno sul nostro volto.
E sveglieremo insieme l'aurora.
