I saw a stream of mopeds and cycles with food delivery bags/boxes streaming out of a trading estate in Woodford, so there's a dark kitchen somewhere on the site.
I've not seen this type of fat small wheeled electric bike before (there were several) but it seems to be a popular choice.
If you've not come across dark kitchens before here's an explanation:

The delivery riders return on a wet day to collect more food for the local population.
Places like these are open to the public once again after lockdown(s) but folk have got a taste for it being delivered now, so I expect these riders are now part of the new normal.

This is actually from last falcon "season", towards the end of the parental duties. You can read the "Z" on his bracelet so I'll finish that part of his story: The tag reads "02Z". The locals just spelled it out "Tuzee" and of course it has stuck. He continues to amaze. The action really heats up with food deliveries and flight training once the happy couple have their chicks, so exciting times will be coming again.
Someone was more excited than me for the delivery. :)
“There's never been a true war that wasn't fought between two sets of people who were certain they were in the right. The really dangerous people believe they are doing whatever they are doing solely and only because it is without question the right thing to do. And that is what makes them dangerous.”

A newly fledged Bald Eagle chick was seen whining while stranded on a branch of a tree (previous photo) when this mother bird brought a big fish to feed the chick. As she banked to adjust her approach to the tree she did take a quick glance at me when I took this photo. During the transfer of the fish, the chick didn't have a good grip and the fish fell to the forest floor; a good meal was wasted. However, a little later the papa bird brought a smaller fish and fed the baby. Happy Ending
Puffin with sandeels, flying back to the burrow, on a cloudy afternoon,on the Farne Isles, Northumberland. Taken back in the day, when you could land on the Island. This is an archive image, taken seven years ago, not previously posted.
At last I managed to get shots of the young swallows being fed. Previous attempts were curtailed by dull weather, fence posts and a car tooting behind me as I was blocking the road
Some more shots of the super puffins at Skomer Island. I have got so much editing to do and am totally bogged down so will upload a few more when I get round to editing them. I was delighted to get a shot of a puffin with sand eels in its beak . Didn't realise how hard it is to get this shot - they move so quickly!

Bronson is being kept very busy, Belle is back on the nest and calling for food. He brought in two mice in the space of 20 minutes on Sunday afternoon. You can see he is carrying the second one here.
He also appears to be occasionally feeding at least one of the young from the last clutch.
