My Flickr friend, Boston Peter, www.flickr.com/photos/23357726@N03, commented on my fruit picture last week about cara cara oranges. I hadn't heard of them before so this Saturday we went on the cara cara hunt. On the outside they look like a bright orange naval orange. On the inside they are sweet, juicy, delicous, easy to peel and seedless! I just hope my local fruit store keeps them coming while they are in season. Thanks Peter!

Belem - do you know what's the best thing about this place?

Of course, it's a photographers paradise, but that's not what I'm talking about. The Belem Tower is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Not alone, but a joint heritage with the Monastery of the Hieronymites.

Sorry if I did not get to all my contacts the other day, I was having problems (and still am) with my d-link, wireless route, of which I am and still am trying to fix. My internet status therefore may come and go as I have to disconnect the cable at times.

- eat head first

- cut the tail with the nail scissors

(hm, maybe with the Tail scissors)

- gut the guts

- put some butter in a frying pan

- sizzle the mouse to perfection (medium)

- add no garlic (no Garfield, too...)

- sprinkle some grated cheese (Swiss cheese of course)

- eat it with delight!

My way of making this delicious sandwich.

The season is short, so we eat as much as possible.

The young Queen began the day with a nourishing breakfast.

We were both to tired to cook a meal at home last night so I bought the classic stuff on my way home:

Hot tuna rolls from Senshi sushi.

Best in town, for sure.

To tired and lazy to cook dinner last night.

We agreed on takeaway from our favourite restaurant...the best in town for sure.

...at our local bakery.

It's 32F outside so I left it to others to enjoy.

Delicous breaded escalope from deer with fried potatod and salad

After biking on the Mountain Bay trail, we stopped at Wicked Willow on our way home to get lunch. As always, it was delicious! We shared Super Summer Spring Rolls, a California Crunch-Rito, and the Born This Way lemonade.

...at restaurant "Hantverket" run by the famous chef Stefan Ekengren, also author of the book "Potatis." (Potatoes.)

Everything on the menu here is delicious.

I had baked veal brisket with vegetables cooked in broth, potato puree with garlic confit and gremolata.

I felt almost sad after.

Sad because I could not eat more....

I seem to be on a nature streak these days, inspired by the Style it Up contest. This week's prompt was to build something with no visible studs. So, naturally, I build a stud mustang rearing back in the American West.

It's also an entry to the Iron Forge, with minifigure legs in the tiny cacti/bush things.
